I think Mackenzie crying in the store room showed vulnerability and I'm guessing she has wanted to be loved by Rick so much and he's hurt her terribly over the years. Hence she's set on revenge.

I think Dean will get all pally with 'Dad' and turn his back on Mackenzie but then he'll discover the truth, possibly from Karen.

Yea I can’t decide re Mac yet - it’s all moved so quickly ... surely spend a bit more time getting to know her bro, getting him (& us, the dear viewers) on side etc before unleashing revenge on her estranged father. I mean are we meant to even BE on her side?

I too am undecided on Mac, sometimes she’s really annoying, sometimes she’s ok. I don’t mean to be rude, but her face also looks a bit ‘worked on’, a la Leah... I assume the actress is only in her late 20s/early 30s, so I’m a bit confused as to why she would go for surgery 😐 Rick Booth was accidentally hilarious eh, giant blonde bouffant and smirky smirkyson panto villain face!

Re Justin's kid. Don't get why they changed the actress, but what I don't get more than that is her attitude. Why is she behaving like that to Leah? Ava version 1 didn't have a problem with any of his girlfriends in the past.
I can't really see the reason for Ava version 2 not liking Leah because she's jealous and thinks she's taking her dad from her. I mean Justin only sees Ava every blue moon.

Re Ray/Alf, sad news. I hope he's on the mend. H&A won't be the same without him.

Yes definitely Uhtredswoman, also Leah and Justin are completely flouting MN rules of not introducing your child to a new partner too early... they’ve only been dating for about a month! Poor kid. If I were her, I’d be feeling cheated that Scarlett isn’t around anymore... she was definitely the best of Justin’s ragtag love life.

Let’s hope Ava doesn’t ask how he and lilo-lipped Leah got together 🙄

I had to Google Scarlett - forgot all about her. She was bland & boring. I didn't warm to her at all.

I feel so bad for Ava. Pretty much the only time she sees her dad is when he wants to show off to a new girlfriend what a good dad he is. He's actually a really rubbish dad. From her POV he abandoned her for years with no contact at all when he was in witness protection & when he finally did get back in contact he'd changed his name & then hardly saw & when he did have her over he either introduced her to a new girlfriend or she got kidnapped. He never just has her over as part of normal life. Poor kid has never had stability from him. If I were her mum I'd definitely be trying to limit contact & only really allow supervised visits.
