Healer is brilliant!!! and you'll have to get in line for Grrrr JCW... we've already claimed him... after Healer, if you enjoyed it and the lovely Grrr JCW head for Suspicious Partner (also on Netflix).... I'm jealous that you'll be encountering JCW for the first time... I've spiralled out...

High Society (Viki) finished... it was a pleasant way to spend a few evenings... though didn't set my kdrama world on fire!

Another thumbs up for Healer. Ji Chang Wook occupies the centre ground in mine, Betty & Bea’s oppa list Venn diagram. We are all very relieved he finishes his military service in April, as we need more JCW output.

Although in any normal circumstances, Healer is a creepy ass stalker. Rules of Kdrama world means he gets a pass.

You will spend a lot of time wondering why someone with his means doesn’t rent a nice warm flat somewhere. Keep a hot water bottle handy for his warehouse crib scenes.

Ivalue I’m curious to know how kdrama & Chinese dramas compare. Are there noticeable differences, aside from language?

I think C drams can be a bit more hit or miss and long. However when they get it right i’d say it’s some of the best dramas I’ve watched. I really do enjoy both tho. I would be happy to recommend some c dramas if anyone is interested.

Many of us have viki as well as Netflix, so will likely have access to your Cdrama recommendations.

P&P has got even darker and twistier as I roll into ep 13 from ep 12. With 9 episodes still to go and some of the more obvious lines of enquiry bottomed out, I have no idea where they will go with this. There are a lot of hours left to fill. More snogging and romance would work for me, but its taking the crime & investigation stuff very seriously.

Just finished ep 3 of P&P, no snogging as of yet but I remember you saying there was proper snogging from Choi Jin-Hyuk I’m Devilish Joy so am anticipating great things

Only cdrama I’ve seen is Meteor Garden or is that Taiwanese? I was both 😮and 😆but did enjoy it muchly

Just setting my alarms (honest).

Betty - I am struggling with Managing Prosecutor Mu. They dripfeed little tidbits, so I swing between thinking he’s utterly evil to thinking he’s not so shady, but misunderstood. He is 100% Machiavellian and I’m increasingly thinking he’s manipulating everyone to clear the decks of potential competition for his shot at a very senior role, but then another crumb is found.... It’s maddening.

Watched an ep of The Guardians and pootled off to bed!... 11.30!... I'm not sucked into a series at the moment... Just happy to watch an ep or 2...
Maybe will give pride and prejudice a go..!
