I am pleased to be second in line for JCW. There will, of course, come a point as these threads mature that it wasn’t just me and Betty talking between ourselves & the oppas are more fairly distributed. And for that I am grateful - its good to have more of us scouting out new content and doing quality control. No-one wants to waste 16-20 hours optimistically hoping a dud will turn the corner.

Just come across the term “mecha” in P&P. It’s a sub-genre of manga focussed on robots. The team just referred to a colleague as a “fearsome mecha.” Totally makes sense in context.

Indeed Bea suspicious partner is definitely the next drama for me. Couldn’t agree more boatyard and hopefully we discover more likeable leads like JCW as I’m so far down the line 😆

No, I think he actually kissed her but it was a bit weird and off-key. Either sexual harrassment at work is the norm for junior female staff in Korea or Prosecutor Gu had a momentary brain fart, because he’s do straight-laced in his legal practise.

What do you make of the mother, Betty? I find her really annoying and self-centred.

Yy she is, but then mothers always seem to be black & white, either lovely & understanding (My Strange Hero, a rare example) or warped (this, Just Between Lovers, WYWSleeping)

Being further ahead, I have to say that the snogging is more convincing in Devilish Joy, but it may just be the direction in this - which seems to be more about smashing their faces together like Alien face-huggers. C’mon Jin-Hyuk - I know you can do better.

But the plot twists are still coming thick & fast (in a good way).

I’m still not convinced they were actually kissing, there’s been no flashback-remembering-touching-lips moment.

Re direction vs actors snog style, I read something on Reddit where a poster said there was a bts clip from The Heirs on YouTube where the director had to tell the actors to stop actually snogging and just place their lips together 🤷‍♂️

So maybe there should be a sub-section on the oppas list for snogging ability, as well as pub compatability

Excellent real snow at the crime scene in ep 18. I am glad to be snuggled under a cosy blanket - it looks cold.

Look you can rent an oppa for a tour of Seoul!! No going down the pub though it says alcohol is strictly prohibited

Hilarious! But also a bit weird and uncomfortable. I’d much rather be shown around Seoul by a homely unni, ajumma or ajussi.

Have to tell you ladies... The Guardians is turning into a real humdinger!.... Gasps all round and good plot!... Recommended!!... I've got two more eps!! 👍👍
