A quiet corner of MN for serious addicts of Kdrama, or the Kdrama-curious. Most of our viewing is drawn from Netflix and Viki, but the more seriously addicted have other sources, including dramabus.

Watch a bit Betty, just to see Jang Hyuk in bastard mode. I’m currently torn because all the characters so far have been unremittingly awful, but I think it may be a strength in the long run, as it’ll be fun to see them getting their downfall.

Lol!! I have watched one episode of each and the jury is out, they are very different.

So far I have no idea what is going on in Money Flower but like the ML without the manic laugh.
Lashings of arterial spray in Blood & annoying FL but like the ML. Bea rates it higher than Shopaholic Louis but early indications are a bit dodgy......

So I still haven’t made my mind up

I’m on ep 4 of Money Flower. It’s shaping up a treat. Murky as all hell (all the backstabbing shenanigans) but good. ML and bambi have great chemistry.

Oh you two are so bad! WYWS cop is a draw but so is twisty turny plot & have watched scene on steps in Blood Flower and am now predicting he will sacrifice his love interest for revenge!
Still watching both at the mo

I love that Bea and I are doing the “pick me dance” relationship board style, but also that Betty is keeping us both warm until she decides, philandering partner style.

I am coming to a view that Bambi is more astute than everyone is giving her credit for, being blinded by her moral uprightedness. However, I can foresee a set of circumstances where she could justify getting her hands dirty because her intentions are based in goodness IYSWIM.

I've started the beauty inside! Have to admit.. Ahn Jae Hyun (ML Blood) is the big draw... With a softer haircut and much more sunnier disposition! 😂😍

Near the start of ep 6. The younger cousin heir apparent thinks he just bested Kang Pil-Jiu and smirked (scene in the chairman’s office). I can guarantee he’ll get his just desserts. Just because he’s not a dummy like the older heir doesn’t mean he’s as sharp as Pil-Jiu.

I'm going with Blood for the time being as I need something frivolous. Plus I've been watching the leads in Newlywed Diary and I am in love with their pets, soooo cute! I wonder how much they get paid, they don't seem to lead widely extravagant lives

Jang Hyuk is excellent in Money Flower so I will be coming back to it, I just have a feeling it is going to be a doomed love and I am not in the mood for that right now.
The 2ML has very unusual ears, they seem to have melted.

So glad you raised this, as I feel badly for constantly commenting on the actors’ appearance. Blush His ears are odd looking because the area that’s usually set back is more prominent, kind of inside out ears.

Jang Hyuk is smashing the whole brooding tiger vibe. He’s terrific in this. I’m not convinced the love is doomed. As I said before, I think the FL has the potential to take his side and I remain convinced she’s more astute and harder nosed than they’ve made her initially seem. She definitely has an inner steeliness that we haven’t seen fully yet - evidence being her resistance to being set up on dates etc, despite what must have been significant family pressure. I reckon if the awful chaebol family cross or stitch up her Dad the gloves will come off.
