Bah. Real life commitments are getting in the way of my kdrama consumption at the mo. Still, I am about to fire off a list of good stuff on Netflix to a friend who asked for recommendations last night.

Ah me too, the word is spreading!

I am recommending Stranger, Prison Playbook and Black for starters, what about you?

boatyardblues same here, it’s so annoying. Although I have managed to squeeze in Romance is a bonus book which I’m enjoying. It’s a blessing I guess that I’ve been super busy as I normally like to binge watch.

Only one ep up for each & waiting for subs but quite handy if you don't have enough time to binge a whole series.

I finished Encounter earlier and think it is worth the effort. It’s quite slight in terms of plot - a fairly simple romance with a sprinkling of corruption and chaebol infighting. However, the two leads were adorable together and very likeable. Supporting cast good too. It was slow, mellow and lovely.

By the time I finished Encounter last night I was too tired to settle on anything properly. I tred & failed picking up Last Empress and Devilish Joy. I dipped my toe in Beauty Inside but Lee Min Ki was impassive/frowny in the bit I watched and I’m interested to see his range, so it seemed like a reprise of his Because TIMFL role. Will try again tonight when I’m less tired.

boatyardblues I just watched a bit of On The Way to the Airport (Viki) which might be up your street, so far it seems more slice-of-life-y

Well, as slice-of-life-y as things get in dramaland. The FL seems realistic at least. It has the mad Emperor in as her pilot husband.

I’m not sure that Lee Min-Ki shows much more range, initially his character is v similar to BecauseTIMFL but his chemistry with FL is nice, and the others characters are fun.
