Regarding the posts snout child and housing benefit in the falters house:
HMRC not the DWP administer child benefit and I’m not sure they’re bothered where you’re living as long as you’re responsible got a child.
Only eligible for Housing benefit if you are liable for the rent. Ie. The actual people on the tenancy agreement. Stacey and Martin only I think. The others would be classed as non dependants living with them and there would be a deduction from the housing benefit coz they would be expected to contribute to the rent.

Tobee, we can diversify here about other things! It's all helps in the education of how to launder dirty money / how drug rings work , how to have an extension built in less than a week and how to claim benefits for various children of different parentage. Not to mention working out which rhyming slang Mick is using that is 'proper' old slang or made up ' Danny dyer' rhyming nonsense.
The days of being able to watch this soap and know what's going on is clearly over. We now need to support each other through the more tricky aspects of the writers' minds and how to negotiate the darker side of being a criminal / the welfare state. It's no longer ' entertainment' : it's a whole different ball game to that.
Let's continue that support.

Just caught up on latest EE and am getting really sick of all the loose ends and randomness, with storylines being forgotten and things that don't make sense or are out of character, what on earth is going on? Eg Denise and Kush splitting up. They've only been together 5 minutes! Mel and Munter disappearing, why aren't the other 'wives' wondering what's going on, and what are the police doing? And are we supposed to like Stu now? And what is Rainie doing? Why is she pretending to be ill? I can't actually remember if her and max are really in a relationship or still pretending. It's all so confusing. Are the writers all drinking in their meetings or something? There's no realism or proper building up of storylines anymore, it's just one random event after another. No one seems to be looking at the bigger picture in terms of story direction and characters change their personalities to suit that particular episode's events.

I ve watched since the first day too. The first episode was much more diverse and had quite gritty stories.
I keep meaning to watch the old ones that are on and I keep forgetting!
