I did watch the scene with Alfie and Phil in the garage but Alfie was speaking worse lingo than Mock and I couldn't follow what he was saying (not sure he even finished a sentence?!) - other than the car was a pension policy for him and Kat.

When I watched Ozark I completely understood money laundering but now I'm not certain.

I think you have a legit business that's not doing well but you take it over, get various work done, buy stuff for it, etc and pay for it using the dirty money so it's broken up and distributed to different people and places rather than just bung the dirty money into a bank in one lump sum. So is mixed up with clean money in many clean businesses.

I still don't know what the drugs were Keagan was taking. He sort of seemed silly happy on them. I assumed Evie's band of dealers were selling stuff more serious than a bit of weed?

I think also, with regards money laundering, Jason Bateman was involved with that lakeside restaurant/water sports place were loads of people pay for stuff in cash and you give the dirty money in change.
