Billy thinks if Ruby accused Jay of something like she has accused the men who raped her that Jay wouldn’t stand a chance because he already has a conviction and signed the sex offenders register. He’s trying to scupper any chances of them getting close.

Wasa lovely realistic touch having video message, but Edinburgh? Huh? With a newborn and no equipment or own bed or two other adults to help. They could just as easily have faked a beach background.

Thought this would have made Munter grow up not think guns are great to play with. Does threat of going to jail for manslaughter mean nothing? Don’t know why he’s bothering going to school when he’s going end up working in the bar no doubt.

I really enjoyed the episode last night. Shirl was hilarious with Billy and I like Mitch being friends with Mick. It was nice to see Jay having fun as well.

Loved Shirley and Billy last night. Also loved Karen and Bernie on the dance floor. Bernie was looking at Karen like my teen DD would look at me if I forced her to dance with me.Grin

Me too. It does feel like they’re setting it up that way but how lovely would it be if it became a solid relationship that restored Ruby’s faith in men?

I appreciate that this is impossible in eastenders but jay could just say to ruby - look I really like you but don't want to mislead you or you to hear it from someone else but I slept with a girl who was underage, I didn't know she was, she lied about her age, and as a result I'm on the so register. She might actually believe him and appreciate him telling the truth. Obvs this won't happen and she'll find out later and say whey didn't anyone tell me, how could you lie to me etc etc. Poor Jay Sad
