I don't think Dot is going to see Charlie, she's going to vanish for a while. Charlie will phone Sonia to say he's not heard from her and is she OK and they'll realise she's missing.

I think houses are very expensive in that area of London.

Although £1m probably isn't that expensive for a 4 bed in London.

Sonia is a nurse ; they are taught ' patient confidentiality ' and safeguarding as standard and that would roll over into her personal life, especially as she is wary of Stu and Rainie. Blurting out this information is very odd/ dangerous and didn't ring true to me. Seems to be something weird going on.

I have grown to really like Karen and I think she is very believable as a character. She reminds me a bit of Carol Jackson - she was so believable. I liked it when Karen was shaving her legs and drinking wine in the bathroom, and then when she realised her bra strap was hanging down in the restaurant . Good for her for not falling for Mitch's 'charms' though.

I was a bit shocked at the suddenly imminent death of baileys mum as well, we've gone from bailey living in mysterious circumstances, then she's a carer to her mum and now she's about to die - everything g just seems so rushed and Not thought through atm

Jean will be in the Eastenders caravan in Margate. I think it's Margate isn't it? Where was Babe's Baby Caravan?

I don't think Bailey's storyline is particularly rushed - her mother was on oxygen the only time we saw her so the prognosis wasn't good. I don't think there was mush point dragging her back story out of the aim is to have her as a permanent character (and they should, she's marvellous!)

Surely when Bailey's mum does die she would be taken into care? Mitch doesn't live with them ( not sure where he does live?)
Karen couldn't just look after her because Mitch thinks it's a good idea?

Bailey is very good. If she is going to be a permanent character I wonder how they will do that. Perhaps Karen and Mitch will have yet another go of things and they will both move in? Or perhaps Mitch will rent out one of the many vacant houses on the square?

Where does Mitch actually live? He doesn’t seem to live with Bailey as she’s the one caring for her mum but social services & the school know that he’s her dad. If Baileys mum does she would surely live with Mitch

Maybe Mitch has only just split up from her then then she became really ill and he left Bailey to it? No idea really.
He isn't very trustworthy.

IIt t sounds like they've worked out the "after" care plan because it's a certainty. If it were a sudden death then she would go into care before going to her father. Although if he is an involved father (which he seems to be) then there would be no reason for her to go into care at all.

So Mitch could care for her? Then why ask Karen to have her? ..
Another muddled story. EE does like to make things complicated sometimes.

I think the social services guy simply expects Mitch to find somewhere appropriate to live though.

Mitch knows he can’t look after her full time while he’s working or chasing random women, he also probably thinks bringing up kids is woman’s work

Can’t see how bailey will fit unless shares with Bernie. So that be 3 adults and 5 kids in tiny flat.

Supppose her family have to get house in end, she’s been renting off council since 1986 so right to buy be very cheap. Dot can’t stay in it for ever. Not sure why raine is sniffing around mind.

Karen's other two boys are with their dad most of the time, it's the only way they can all fit in that small place.
Maybe Mitch should ask the Slaters to have them both. Lol.

In the flat, I think it might be all the boys in the loft, Bernie and Karen in rooms on the same floor as the living room and Ken on the couch. It's not completely implausible. Unlike the Slater house.

Bailey would have to share with Bernie.

I know it wouldn't fit in as it isn't in Albert square but surely when baileys mum dies Mitch would be allowed to take her flat on and live in it with bailey? Or am I being naive? I guess now keanu is awol the sofa is free at Karen's. Good point about Dee and Patrick - who actually owns that house? It used to be the b&b so must be massive and just two people living there now, Dee doesn't have a job so surely they'd take in lodgers?

Yep, Dee could take him in as a lodger.
She isn't working now: Patrick must be on benefits? They need to pay the bills and Mitch seems to turn his hand to anything work wise ., he could open up the hairdressers abandoned by Dean a few years ago. Or reopen Tanya's salon!
Dee could run it for him?
