I think he is an unfortunately featured, awkward, but basically lovely man - it appears that he has raised money for, and cooked dinner for, a large number of homeless people.
His woman obviously loves him. (Until anyone actually meets another person, you can't really comment on attractiveness, just appearance, which isn't actually the same thing.)
He was pissed at losing - as I'm sure others have been in the past, but have been better at hiding their emotions.
AND . . . . people who don't want to read nasty comments are not forced at gunpoint to look at these threads. So why do they?
We are having a rather cruel laugh - but are well aware none of us is perfect (other than Mary Poppins, who is practically perfect, and possibly Grouchy's puppy). I personally would not look out of place in a sanctuary for overweight velociraptors - but I would not subject myself to the Cruel Gaze of the Public Eye.
If it upsets you, read about bunnies and kittens.
