Nooooo, it would be exhausting, like a class full of seven year olds high on Haribo.

My dad loves Tess and finds Claudia a little too wacky. I think Tess’ bland style might appeal to a certain type of Strictly fan who aren’t posting on forums, don’t know any of the gossip and have never heard the term ringer - I feel like all those characteristics come together to form a Tess supporter.

I voted for Faye and Ashley - we put money on Faye to win right at the start and I love Ashley. I thought her dances were full of chemistry, passion and feeling last night. Her American Smooth was glorious though I didn’t like the dress. She seems very fragile, however, I think knowing that she is the least popular has really upset her and she seemed on edge with some of her flamboyance missing. Pasha seemed very bothered by the stumble after the paso but he was so affectionate and supportive to her after the AS - I think he was embarrassed by having lost his own balance?

Faye seemed really tentative whilst dancing. Loved the AT but the samba wasn’t as good as I expected though still great.

I liked Joe’s tango better than I thought I would and his VW would have been lovely if he’d stopped bobbing up and down. He and Dianne are gorgeous together.

I like Lauren but if she goes through to the final after that samba, it would be an outrage!

I’m away next week so will be missing part of it. Hoping I get to at least see lifts the glitter ball but probably won’t be able to vote

Tess was fine until she got bumped into the Top Job. She’s in an entertainer’s job and she isn’t entertaining. Claudia is very funny but I can only take her in small doses. I liked her better on ITT.

I didn’t see it clearly, they talked about it in the comments but I don’t think it’s possible for the audience to see what happened. They messed up the very end pose - Pasha said it was him who fell and Ashley was trying to steady him rather than vice versatility but was he just saying that in her defence? I don’t know.

My DH was commenting last night that Faye looked too tall for Gio all of a sudden!

And I agree with a PP about his chemistry being better with Debbie. That being said, I'm still TeamFaye. I wouldn't mind Kevin finally winning, actually, but I can't bear Stacey most of the time. What's this thing she does of grabbing Claudia's head?!

As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't miss either os the Joneses next year. I've never been a fan of Katya, and the thing with Seann just confirmed that for me, and I'm not sure about all the weird social media stuff Neil does.

Checking in. Drove back from Scotland last night and came in to find DH watching Man C vs Chelsea so watched recorded SCD a bit later. In the meantime I drank a lake of wine so watched in a haze... Can't remember a thing.

Rewatching the dances this morning - I was so tired last night and not in the mood to be impressed! I liked Stacey’s Charleston a lot more today, was really enchanted by Joe’s bumpy VW and loved Pasha’s cape-swishing! He was glorious in that paso.

Fave two dances were Faye’s AT, just loved it, and Stacey’s VW. Lauren has to go tonight surely? Tess drives me bonkers with her patronising banter after each dance, but. I’d rather Shirl went if I had to pick one to go.

Blatant favouritism and downright creepiness towards some of the male contestants on occasion. I can’t watm towards her at all.

I was irritated by the Jovermarking up til this point and it had put me off him, but I like the way he’s really trying, his chemistry with Dianne is electric and she is superb - her AT was sensational. Darcey kind of said Joe was pretty much superfluous to that routine, which is true but I still like him.

looked like neither Faye nor Joe stood on their spots next to Tess after their second dances, they both seemed about a foot away in an attempt to avoid The Grip .

I stick up for Tess when she gets crucified over her dresses (apart from the orange and burgundy horror last week). She's so gorgeous that you could put her in a shitty bin bag and she would still look amazing. Her presenting skills I agree leave rather a lot to be desired. And she needs to stop being weird with Joe

I love Claudia but she needs to stop banging on about people's kids and parents and nans all the time

I've watched SCD for years - since finding it while ironing the kids' school uniforms on a Sunday evening. Always lurked on the SCD thread but never commented - until now!!
This series has taken a big dip and having given it more thought that I should here's why :-)

1. Tess! OMG - she's beautiful and looks fantantic but should keep her mouth closed. I actually cringe when she speaks and it's the same phrases on repeat. Reminds me of the robots on 'Humans' - physically great but a lot of work needed on the human characteristics. Sorry Tess. And not Claudia and Zoe together either - too same-y.
2. Judges - Craig is the only one who has integrity right now and maybe Dave a bit too. I don't trust what the other judges have to say. They say one thing and then mark in another.
3. Bruno - the theatrics are okay in small doses but IT'S ALL THE TIME!!
4. Shirley - I like her but her overmarking is baffling. Just why??????

I now wonder how much happens behind the scenes and they are told to influence who stays in or goes.

1. All the over the top behaviour in the Clauditorium - everyone trying to outdo each other - arrghhh (does anyone like an uber extrovert)
2. Stop pretending the Results Show is not filmed on Saturday.
3. It's an ENTERTAINMENT SHOW - the public wants to be entertained and so if the public is consistently saying every week they don't want to be entertained by a particular person, then surely that person needs to go? Change the weighting of the judges' points - because so many people have watched SCD over the years and we can, to an extent, judge whether a dance is good or not. We can see if someone is out of time, looks tired and if there is faffing at the start we already know they're not going to be good in this dance.
4. People say we need ringers - we don't - if we want to watch good dancing we can watch the professionals - therefore have more group or couples dances with the pros showing off their skills.
5. And breathe - and return to my corner to lurk once more

So true about Tess and her strange OTTness with the contestants, I noticed that Stacey shrank away from her.

I really LOVED Stace's charleston but the faffing with making them out to be an old old old couple to start and finish. May have been factual but it was ageist. Bring back the Charleston I say !!!!!! A fabulous dance!! Great for burning up the calories!

If either Joe or Lauren win I'll eat my hat. They finally got the truth from the judges, too late and it'll make no difference to their fans!

@MyVisionsComeFromSoup - Haha I noticed them standing really far back from her. Joe was probably trying to avoid another 'little face!!' comment and grab.
