That was a poor semi-final and really showed that 2 of them are way way out of their depth now!

I'm on tenterhooks for tomorrow. I think at least one of the judges will have some sort of temper tantrum if it's Faye and Ashley for the dance off, which is theoretically possible as there is a joint place score, meaning the bottom of the leaderboard is 2 instead of 1.

Its a pity certain judges fawned so much over Joe, he looked disappointed tonight, they should have been honest from the beginning, and the scoring for him last week was ridiculous.

I wish Charles was still in, its a pity he went last week.

@GoldenSyrupLion I recently rewatched Gio's AT with Debbie, and he does the same thing... looks mostly at the floor. Must be his style??

And I agree that Faye's slightly stooped posture was likely to do with her feeling too tall for Gio. Have no idea why they gave her such a tall hair updo!

I thought they were all a bit off tonight - some more than others (Lauren, Joe). A poor semi final. They must all be knackered though.

Voted for Faye, Stacey and Joe. It will be a travesty if Lauren is in the final.

Louise Rainbow the Exec Producer (who has been there for years) is leaving after this series. So I think there will be changes next year.

I don't know about Katya but I agree I think Karen will go. She's seemed very sombre this year even though on the whole she did really well this year and got her first 10.
I just really hope Neil gets a partner next year, he's got so much more to give a partner in terms of choreography and personality than Graziano who failed Vick terribly.
I've always really wanted to see Anneka Rice, I think she'd be graceful and give everything a good go like the challenge Anneka days. Martin Kemp is highly likely, he's done loads of reality TV in the last year and he's appeared on ITT.

I'm sure I've said this before but Martin Kemp and Michael Ball would be my ultimate dream contestants!

Thinking next year they could do a husband/wife again with Shirlie...or even better, father/son with Roman. That would be awesome and Martin would totally kick his ass Grin

Michael Ball is a fan of the show and has done ITT in the past. I'm amazed he's not been on it yet actually.

I think Stacey Solomon might be on it next year. She was one of the few pannelists on ITT this year who obviously watched the show.

Radzi from Blue Peter was on ITT last night, I can't remember whether he's done one of the Strictly specials like Christmas or Children in Need, but he'd be quite an enthusiastic contender on the main Strictly.

Am I the only one who enjoyed Joe and Dianne's Viennese Waltz? I am a sucker for a bit of romance tbf! And it's hard being a smaller male trying to rule an argentine tango when the girl can easily wow (if the moves are done right)- Giovanni barely moved!

Poor Lauren, her samba looked like a week 2 dance.

Didn't think Stacey's Charleston was a 39 as saw some timing issues, and agree not enough in hold for the VW.

Ashley was good but as usual no chemistry between them.

Faye was my favourite tonight, and looked like she was loving it even if she did find them hard apparently.

Felt so bad for Joe, as I think they were harsher to him comments-wise than even Lauren who was worse imo. He looked close to tears, think it means a lot to him and he takes it very seriously.

I did really love the ballerina-style lift in Pashley's American Smooth :) saw it in the VT and thought 'wow, if they pull that off, hats off to them'

I think it's very unfair to Jo the way they have been fawning over him until this point. Not only did it not give him things to improve but meant when they are honest it hit him much harder. They usually reserve praise only for ones they think are about to go so maybe that was it- but they should have twigged by now! Doesn't explain the over scoring either.

I will be very miffed if we don't get to see all the showdances. And a chance to vote on all after. I remember one final where some left half way so we didn't get to see and vote. Not happy!

Lauren and Joe were the weakes by miles. Who is he? Stacey was the best by far I thought, then Ashely. Faye lacked a bit of character in her dances.
