I don’t really care who wins any more, I really haven’t engaged with this series nearly as much as all the others I have watched, dunno if it’s me being a jaded or the programme, I have been increasingly irritated by all the faffing, props, themes & the really very strange overmarking by the judges & Shirley really really gets on my nerves, so feeling decidedly Meh about it, these threads have been the best bit.

It'll be a genuine travesty if he wins.

Which is fine - it would be boring if we all thought the same thing.
But he has worked hard and is no less a deserving winner than the rest given his starting point.
I am in my 40s and not an old lady pervert(!) that was the description given to elderly fans of Joe earlier in the thread I have simply watched all the reaction videos and seen the weekly routines in training to finished product.
I find Joe very likable but very asexual - that has been his only downside for me: he could not sell the AT and smoulder whereas Charles might have nailed that choreo.
That said, I also haven't seen the chemistry between Gio/Faye and Pashley that others see, I see technical but no emotional connections. I cannot help wondering how Gio and Ashley might have danced together.
Stacey and Kevin probably have the best chemistry overall. She won me over with not wanting public sympathy with injury porn and not wanting to use Next week we have my favourite dance.....but then undid it all with the Common People schtick/not seen a musical-love Fantine turnaround/increasing touching of Claud and Mum Warz - I get it, Di is excited but rein it in love.
And I hated their paso.
All that said, Joe also got on my nerves with the I thought x was y banal comparisons, neither cute nor true.

So in all...I think if we saw the votes it would/will go

1. Joe 2. Stacey 3. Faye 4. Ashley

Technically on aggregate it should go

1. Ashley 2. Faye 3. Stacey 4. Joe

Subjectively based on personalities I like

1. Joe 2. Ashley 3. Faye 4. Stacey

Subjectively based on sympathy for pros

1. Kev 2.Gio 3.Pash 4.Dianne

but I cannot begrudge any of them given the 13 hour days.

But it could also be that following Bobby Bones winning DWTS that I am genuine travestied out...

I like Joe and won't mind if he wins.. I had Graeme in my sweepstake so no glitterball for me again this year.

I thought the red would look better than that, it really doesn't suit his skin tone. He might need a double dip in the tanning booth.

I haven't seen anything about Joe and Dianne getting friendly apart from on this thread but even Zoe was asking them about it tonight in a roundabout but direct way

@kazzaD66 - Apparently she was caught staying round his a few nights back... might be innocent though tbf as they do long training hours. Maybe she stays in a spare room (cough cough... yeah right)

Am I the only one thinking his hair isn't actually that bad? Not like it's going to be permanent! Might go well with the paso doble and halloween foxtrot if they decide to do that one again.

I really want to know all their favourite dance choices now! I keep looking through their back catalogue to guess. I wonder if they'll pick something completely different to their main showdance theme, e.g. Ashley's looks to be quite wafty/contemporary, so maybe she'll choose something fun/lively for a favourite. Or if they'll simply choose their favourite no matter what they're doing in the showdance (i.e. will Joe choose his quickstep, seeing as they're putting a lot of quickstep into their showdance)

Yo know Zoe's presenting Chris Evan's R2 show next year ( I think). BTW they had ALL the finalists on it, was good.

She'll probably find it too much to do them both. She was looking a bit upset when she said goodbye to Ian Waite though he's on today.

i think you need the ringers. without them the first few weeks would be a bit meh.
but there are ringers and then there are ringers like Ashley. a dancer by trade is a bit too much.
and yes the judges being shocked at the ringer being in the DO is annoying.

I liked Harry from his first appearance when he was shy and somewhat awkward as I saw his potential and wow how he blossomed each week .He was a natural and very cute. [sigh]

His hair is brown again now (instagram stories), so the red hair must've just been for ITT/maybe some VT filming?

On Chris Evans show this morning, Joe was saying that it was a spray in colour for ITT, which won't be any good for Saturday because it will run when he sweats. So Dianne has said she is colouring it properly for him tonight - she is a hairdresser apparently!

Who the fuck is Bobby Bones?! I remember when DWTS used to have proper stars on it! And people say Strictly is going Z list.
