DWTS have had 27 series so are running out of speed/names now - they have cancelled Spring (used to be on twice a year) and will be back in the Autumn.
They usually sign at least one person I know but often I am clueless. Bobby Bones is a DJ/morning presenter I think, cannot remember without looking it up. He was dire though, sub-Joe, and the flak he got for winning cast a shadow on the whole thing.
If that is what Joe faces I would rather he lost to be honest.

Apparently there is an instagram account that tells Joe fans how to vote if they're not in the UK.

I don't think he needs it to be honest but this is just OTT.

That tactic didn't work for John Barrowman - he came 3rd (IACGMOOH).
I don't mind fans voting who are following his reaction videos and performances but if he does win, people who had other favourites will accuse them of rigging the vote by supporting him blindly...this won't take into account those who find his performances entertaining in their own right. The backlash will be awful to witness.

Well I guess his legions I'd followers are as much of a curse as they are a blessing then. We don't know just how many people do find him genuinely entertaining as a dancer.

Yeah it's annoying as he's screwed either way if he wins, even if lots did vote for him because they enjoyed it/him rather than just because they were already fans.

He should put something out on his twitter stopping people from voting illegally/creating loads of extra accounts to vote.

I'm mostly just excited to watch everyone's dances rather than caring about a winner. 12 dances Saturday (plus the one from the eliminated contestants, and is there another group dance? Am guessing not). What a treat! Smile Looking forward to seeing which they choose as their favourites, and how much they improve on those and the judges choices compared to their original dances.

Well I am very much looking forward to it. I like the song by Birdy that Ash is dancing to. Less keen on Faye's but it will suit her. Interested as to what Kev is doing that's never been done before. Hope Joe delivers a dance that he is proud of.

or not as it has been announced by beeb for 2 of the couples. Joe is doing charleston, Faye is doing swing your plait.
At least Joe's hair will look okay with his red shirt.

I thought Joe had chosen his Charleston, the two obvious choices were Charleston and Quickstep, but Vicky Gill said yesterday that they were remodelling his tails for the show dance so I was pretty sure then that he hadn't chosen the Quickstep.

I would rather have seen Faye's Grease Quickstep again than the Fosse-style dance.

Makes sense Joe would do the Charleston, was fun and lively with room for improvement, and as he's doing a quickstep-style showdance best to do something different for favourite. Plus he's good at doing the high energy dancing, and the paso doble is serious so wouldn't want another serious dance. Thought they might've chosen the Kermit Waltz maybe though.

I can't remember Faye's quickstep Confused I loved the Fosse dance and am pleased to be seeing it again; I feel like it went so quickly last time and took me by surprise –this time I'll be prepared and can watch it all, properly.
