I assume the public will vote for Joe or Stacey to win but I can’t call it.

It will be good to see what Joe Varley comes up with, am enjoying watching him this year but I think Faye will come third.

And I agree that the Ashley backlash is down to the producers employing her, though there was that moment in the Lindython which didn’t help.

Did anyone notice how Janette was trying to get into camera shot at the back of the screen? She tried to push Oti out of shot, and Oti, with a big smile, just pushed her back. grin 55 mins 11 seconds Just after Stacey and Kevin had their scores. I do like Janette but this constant mugging to camera is getting quite irritating.

I really want Stacey to win, I thought the judges were putting the boot into Joe a little late, his AT was really poor when you compare it to other male slebs who'd danced it at this stage.
Ashley I can't sympathise with. I think they forget it's a competition and someone has to be in the bottom two.

So, my opinions, starting from the end! - Poor Lauren, I liked her she had guts and a pleasant personality she seemed so pleased that she's going!

Pleeeese don't let there be a repeat of last year with a 'meh' male winner. Leaving 3 miles better female runners up.

God, that horrible group , was it BIG FIX or something trying to 'sing' I had to turn the sound off They'll probably go on to be the resident Strictly girl group they were so bad !!

I disliked the opening dance it wasn't my cup of tea, good at polishing the tables I suppose it saves on cleaning bills (looking over her specs) The way they were pushing it before on ITT was funny!

Would love to know how much free will the judges actually have. I suspect not a lot. I remember the Orange One debacle very well!

So what dance would be your choice for all the finalists to redo?

My favourite dance of the series has been Faye and Giovanni's Couples Choice, which I just loved, so that would be my choice for them.

I think I am a lone voice in the wilderness in actually liking Joe's Argentine Tango but I would pick the quickstep for him.

Kevin and Stacey's foxtrot which I thought was great fun.

Probably the jive for Ashley - I liked the choreography and she and Pasha looked as if they were having fun. I think she has lost the joy over the last few weeks as she has realised she doesn't have the popular vote.

I've no clue about dance so can't recall the names:

I loved Faye's Lonely Goatherd as well as her second dance on Saturday.

Stacey's Les Mis dance.

Ashley's Halloween dance.

Joe's basketball dance.

I've no idea if these weee technically best, but I enjoyed them.

I hope Faye and Giovanni do the quickstep again as I loved that.

I am guessing that the choices are, in some way, determined by the production/costumes required for them?

I liked ashley’s Contemporary best and at least it’s meaningul for her so might give her the boost she needs.

Stacey’s dances have largely left me cold even though I’d normally like her. I find her and KFG over-act. So maybe her paso if she can make it less stompy.

And joe, well, I think his quickstep from Blackpool (anything apart from the basketball fiasco or that Joseph pump).

I genuinely didn't see the spoilers, it was an educated guess based on the leaderboard and my guess of how the audience vote would go.

Ashley mustn't take it personally that she hasnt got the popular vote. The way I see it - she was just too good from the start. The public need someone to root for.

I liked Faye’s black and white dance, was that the couple’s choice? If they tidy that up to her current level it would be great to see again.

Also I can't believe that she's really so wholesome and cutesy as she presents herself, IMO anyone who gets to their late thirties without developing a cynical and bitter streak doesn't really understand the world at all.

I'm 46 and don't have a 'bitter streak'. I suspect Ashley's thrown herself into the competition knowing that when it's all over she will have her first Christmas without her Dad, as well as dealing with the devastation that having someone close kill themselves brings.
I think if she seems a bit brittle at some times and over emotional at others, it will be because of that, not because the British public don't like her.
She's been in showbiz for years, she'll also have been dealing with bitching for years too.
