Fuzzy don't really care about Adam Lambert's trousers. How else do you think he reaches those high notes? When you see him live he's phenomenal and Freddie would approve I'm sure.

Ashley is there because she is not popular with the public because of her dance background.
Charles was on borrowed time. Hes not very likeable and his turning point in the show was when he did his couples choice, street, which i thought unfair considering they introduced it weeks in and juat shows he wasnt good at the ballroom/laton which is what the show is about. Hes also fallen victim to karen not bwing very well liked by the public.
Lauren is deffinitly the worst left, however, you never hear her arm being an excuse and her level of improvement is why shes getting votes.
Stacey will win. Kev has A LOT of fans and she is very laid back which the public will like.
Faye is fab but you cant know how popular with the public she is as she has always been towards the top of the leader board meaning, in order to be in the dance off she would need to be last in the public vote.
As soon as ashley wasnt at the top of the leader board.she was in the DO, indocating she is bottom of the public vote.
Lauren has consistantly been towards the bottom of the leaderboard but never in the DO.. indicating she is top of the public vote.
Very much a popularity contest with the judging this year

Re Adam Lambert. Sorry I've seen a far better Queen tribute act (Killer Queen) who had better trousers! ;)

I get confused with the scores but the fact that Lauren was 2nd from bottom and yet not in the dance off surely means she got more votes than everyone but Faye who was top?

Probably almost certain that Ashley will be in the dance off again next week and, I think, could be with Stacey or Joe. I hope it's Joe and he goes unless, of course, he dances well (unlike last night and last week).

Darcey stupid comment of "I can't understand why Ashley is in the dance off" made me laugh. Use your brain Darcey!

@Mumtoboy123 I disagree about Charles, his ballroom may have been mediocre but he had some good latin numbers (samba, jive, the rumba this week). He's better than Joe!

At this stage I wish they would do away with the public vote, the public can’t be trusted! Or, maybe, the weighting from the public should be much, much, much lower.

I'm 39 and I certainly don't find AJ attractive. I've said this before but his unbelievably smooth complexion and shiny shiny hair and teeth reminds me of a Ken doll. He and Mollie looked like Barbie and Ken last year.

I haven't seen either of this weekend's shows (I did check the spoiler elsewhere though) and Ashley is a very good dancer so I'd imagine that whoever she ends up against in a DO is going to lose out!

AJ's getting an older woman vote?? Really?! and there was I thinking it was the gay vote he was getting. He's a baby-faced assassin and 3 semis in a row - insert gag here - might mean he finally gets to the final along with fellow bridesmaids Kev and Gio. I wouldn't begrudge any of the male pros actually.
But if I had to choose now it would be...
Joe - the worst out the beginners but great performance
Stacey - the best out of the beginners but some contrivances
Faye - technically good but not Debbie McGee
Ashley - technically great but lacks emotional impact
Lauren - no stand-out for me personally, either tech or perf

All subjective of course and would be boring if we all liked the same.

Adam Lambert is absolutely brilliant. Saw him with Queen and his voice is fantastic. He certainly is much better than any tribute act

I don't think Charles is "not very likeable" either. I didn't care for him initially but he has come across as sincere and genuine to me. I loved the tribute Karen gave him.

Re the scoring, Lauren will have narrowly escaped the dance off by having the third highest votes.
If Joe and Stacey had the top 2 votes then they would have been top overall and Faye only one above Lauren.

Agree mydog you have to see him live to fully appreciate the talented Mr Lambert!

Charles is a decent actor who learnt very quickly that Prayer Hands and Humble would work better than Speaking in the third person and SexyVibes. I am not saying he is any more fake than the rest of them but nor am I building a shrine

There were two ties, which meant the leaderboard could easily have been turned on its head. We can assume Ashley came last with the public, giving her a score of 1 + 5 (from judges) = 6.

For Lauren to have been saved, she had to have beaten Ashley's overall scored AT LEAST 6 overall. She already had 3 points, so she needed to score at least 3 from public.

Hypotthetically, the scores could be this (judges and viewers):

Joe - 4 + 6 = 10
Stacey - 5 + 5 = 10
Faye - 6 + 3 = 9
Lauren - 3 + 4 = 7
Ashley - 5 + 1 = 6
Charles - 3 + 2 = 5

Agree to differ then. I'm not bothered, but am also entitled to my opinion. I didn't like his trousers and wasn't thrilled by him. Back to the dancing and shucks to the peripheral bollocks.

Tom Chambers showdance is the best ever on Strictly. Regardless of what you think of him he won it on that alone.

Totally agree-I absolutely love this dance.

That, along with Jill’s jive, Sophie EB’s Charleston, Jay’s jive and Ore’s are my top dances.

I can’t believe Charles has gone-he was brilliant. I’m also baffled by why Darcy didn’t understand why Ashley is in the DO!!

Annoyed about the ridiculous DO. As others have said how can you compare an "exciting" quickstep to a romantic rumba FGS.

What’s interesting is that we have no clue who the public are actually voting for except that they really hate Ashley and they like Lauren at least a bit. We know that Faye, Joe, Charles and Lauren all have had some votes: (more than Charles, Ashley and Graeme, anyway), but those four could literally be in any order in the public vote for all we know. Next week’s dance-off pair will be fascinating. It might even be possible for the judges to keep Ashley safe by a tactical leaderboard, which would give us twice as much interesting data, but I’m not sure why they’d bother, so they probably won’t .
