Just catching up with the scores. I woke up at about 3am and was tempted to go downstairs and watch tennis but I didn't. Probably a good move.

Great win for Tiafoe overnight beating Big Kev! Looks like Schwartzmann came through a tough match as well. And Berdych won again

I was just about to post about Kev, but got lost down a rabbit hole of looking at his results for the last few years. He's not had much luck in Melbourne the last couple of years.

Good result for Tiafoe, he's slowly become more of a threat over the last 18 months or so.

I think Taylor Fritz has just beaten Monfils.

Kerber is playing now, and Rafa Is on after. I'm hoping I get to watch some of it. Not sure this Kerber match will be a long one, though Haddad Maia is certainly giving her a run around in the early stages.

Bob Bryan is being interviewed on radio 5 at the mo. they are asking him about his hip resurfacing surgery (obviously). Apparently Andy has already talked to Bob's surgeon. Bob sounds v optimistic about himself and I think he's already played (?maybe) which is great. But doubles is v different isn't it, I don't know if all this stuff is getting people's hopes up about Andy. Who knows. I just want him to make the right decision for himself... but selfishly want to see him at Wimbledon too...

I've just seen RBA won the first 2 sets easily against Milkman, but is struggling in the 3rd.

And Dimitrov is not getting an easy match against Cuevas. 1 set all now.

Private I noticed when the Bryans played the other week, the chest bump celebrations were a bit less enthusiastic- probably a bit too soon to be jumping around the court. I think doubles is different, I suppose you can let your partner take some of the load.
