Why did Alice go to all the trouble of pouring poison into sonya's gloves, make the roses fall out, get sonya to use the gloves to pick up the roses etc, and get her to lick the tiniest bit of poison off her fingers after eating a cake?

Why didn't she just put poison in the cake in the first place and just get her to eat that?

And wouldn't she realise that the poison would be found in Sonya's body after her death? There must have been easier ways to get rid of her!

Perhaps they didn't want to give the viewers a guide to poisoning your conwoman daughter's happily-married love 'rival'. In similar vein, should we find ourselves in a similar position, we should be sure to give a full explanation to our victim before she passes out.

I’m never sure if I do- I can’t stand most of the people, the storyline hyped always fall flat but I have been in the habit of watching it for so long that I still do it every day!
