I'm still going that it's a typical soap story where even though she's stage 4 she gets some sort of specialist treatment and survives??

I’ve just twigged, Mel totally reminded me of Keira Knightley. Only in the scene where she was talking to Paul about the development and when she said ‘but they haven’t said no to me’ It was her mouth.

She does stick out her chin and does that gritted teeth thing but I don’t think that’s who it is for me.... it’s the Delaney conundrum all over again!

V disappointed with Paul's drunk acting. But getting excited that he and Thérèse must finally be getting back together.

I've been about 3 weeks behind with Neighbours since the end of the summer. I had to stop reading this thread, because I didn't want to know what was going on, but I kept seeing spoilers on the net re: Sonya getting ill, so over last couple of weeks I've made a conscious effort to get up to date... Oh my god, I don't normally cry at Neighbours, but the Sonya storyline has got me crying like a baby! It's so sad and tragic. I can't handle Karl's sad face either, he just looks so so sad, it starts me off every time. It's going to be so hard to watch this storyline for the next few months.
Other notes: I LOVE Chloe, I still think David is a whingy little shit and Bea is beyond annoying... oh, and Ned is HOT!
It feels good to be up to date with this thread again!

Yeah, how annoying is this?? I don't think the writers can realise they make her turn everything round to be about her. I reckon they just can't think of a storyline for her so try to ram her in everywhere.
If they were doing it on purpose, someone in the street would have noticed how whiney and self absorbed she is by now - actually, she's just like her mother isn't she!

It was also the first time she met Lucas and she was going to interrupt his meeting to find out what’s going on! How inappropriate!

Bea, Elly and their mother are all exactly the same. All completely self obsessed! ME ME ME, IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!! But actually I find their mum the least annoying out of all of them, which isn't saying a lot!!

So Lucas sells to Paul. Paul turns the garage in to a go-go dancing club featuring Therese. Bea can only get a mechanic apprenticeship in Outer Mongolia and has to leave immediately. There are no flights back from Outer Mongolia 🇲🇳 to Erinsborough, she can't back to Elly's wedding. First day on the new job Bea gets eaten by a camel. 🐫
