Thanks for the new thread - it reminded me of the rather wonderful named poster AnyoneButAndre (waves if they are still here under a name change) in Peter's year...although if I recall he didn't do Baby Warz as much as I had expected that year, given how he really, really, really loves his kids
@satsumaeater and @wowfudge are entitled to their opinion though re Chris...I think Nat in her first year came across as über competitive as Erin did in her early days and Ricky was deemed arrogant (didn't he ask for the voting figures as he couldn't believe the result
) plus the arrest for alleged assault on a photographer possibly didn't help at the time.
x-squared is right though that Chris Hollins came over very well in the pre-season special they had where he took others taking the piss with good grace. Matt made me laugh too (Len had said that sometimes you just have to be content coming 2nd when asked what he could do pre final).
Chris might have gurned for GB but, one lift aside, I didn't like Ricky's freestyle either. I grew to like Nat though. I wonder had she stayed if she would have been given a ringer. She might have had Johnnie given her success with Cassidy. She only won the Oz version once but came 3rd with Tim
(starts 1.47)
(Love the music - Tony Beak used it for Ruth last year)
As for this year's cohort, I cannot begrudge Kev or Gio a win after both being the bridesmaid before. Pash I love and he doesn't care about winning, bless. Joe's reaction vids made me warm to him and Chucky is beginning to grow on me, prayer hands an' all. Dr Hamela never forget! I so think Lauren and Graeme are out this and next week but have both had a decent run.
Kate was injured, had done neither jive nor charleston so with a looming Lindyhop twas a mercy killing.
I am more fed up with who was robbed on DWTS.
Straight off the top of my head
James and Sharna
Lindsey and Mark
(there's that music again!)
and this series Juan Pablo
but it would be dull if we all liked the same people
