How can Georgie possibly know this.

Goodness me, Maisie, are you suggesting that Georgie....farts!

eejittwo · 01/11/2018 21:50

Aw, Brains and Rab kiss and make up.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:50

I don't think I've ever noticed those dogs before.

Have to say that CJ really isn't too bad in these early episodes - despite what happened in Nepal etc he seems pretty sound.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:52

Bromance between Fingers and CJ? Maybe not.

Agreed Rhu. Pretty much normal.

This is a good PR exercise isn't it...beat the locals hollow.

eejittwo · 01/11/2018 21:54

Could have sworn that Maisie was wearing the Adewole name inher uniform and now it’s the Nigerian medic. Hi

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:55

Not sure if there's a Harry Kane amongst those young Nigerian lads.

Not get us into any bother - NOT

Rhubarb01 · 01/11/2018 21:55

Yes it's hard to believe that Maisie has to talk sense into Georgie...fat chance of that happening.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:56

Yes, Bones does come across as a t*sser!

eejittwo · 01/11/2018 21:57

Well, well, well, Georgie. Deja vue all over again.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:57

Ooops, Georgie, you should be well used to being kidnapped by now.

Right Rhu what were you going to tell us about BA's new role?

OP posts:
eejittwo · 01/11/2018 21:59

That were fun. It didn’t have the silliness of the end of Belize and Bangladesh.

Rhubarb01 · 01/11/2018 21:59

Oh dear..what could possibly have happened??

Now, BA's role in The Titan...I watched the first 55 minutes before I couldn't bear anymore - I think there was about 37 minutes or so left to go when I gave up. Anyway, during that time I spotted BA three times sitting around a dining table - blink and you'd miss him - and he had no lines at all. His character merely goes by the name of Lawrence according to the cast list and I'm guessing that's all that happens. I don't know whether more was intended for the role and then cut but I hope it paid well and involved a few nights in a decent hotel etc because I can't see the point of being in the film at all for all the exposure it would have given him.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 22:02

Which network was showing it Rhu? It sounds as if it's 30 mins of your life you will never get back. Had his daft agency billed it as something spectacular?

OP posts:
Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 22:02

Sorry, my maths was out! Nearly an hour of your life you'll never get back.

It's on Netflix ilove

eejittwo · 07/11/2018 14:27

Ladies, sitting this morning in a cafe which had a 60s to early 70s playlist, I was taken by surprise when Daydream Believer came on and I immediately thought of Elvis (Harte, not Presley). Can anyone suggest a reason why?

Ilovelblue · 07/11/2018 21:12

Well, we have daydreamed rather a lot about Captain Harte, haven't we eejit. I wonder if LP realises we are still mourning the death of his character?

I was watching Pointless tonight and one of the categories was "Famous People from Devon" - Agatha Christie and Michael Foot to name but two. I did wonder if the lovely Ben Aldridge might appear but he clearly isn't famous enough.

Are we ok for the watchalong tomorrow night? I will be out tomorrow evening but should be back around 8.45 at the latest.

Anyone got any other news?

eejittwo · 08/11/2018 08:07

I will be there, ilove.

Magi84 · 08/11/2018 12:37

No news I can find Ilove. Bit of a deathly hush on all things Our Girl at the moment. 😡

Rhubarb01 · 08/11/2018 20:50

Evening! Will be on parade at 9pm.

Hope you've all had a good week. Nothing heard about OG at Lechley Park either - I did, however, discover that DH had watched that 'Titan' film as it's newish on Netflix and he likes sci-fi stuff. I asked him if it got any better after 55 minutes and he said that it didn't. I also mentioned why I had watched it and named BA's character which rang absolutely no bells with him, so I assume that sitting at a dinner table was the sum of it in the final cut. It did appear to have been filmed on a sunny island somewhere, so that might have made a nice excursion, I suppose.
