Fingers is walking noticeably taller since Bones told him about selection.

Does Bones offer her a lift specifically to get her into bed? I've always presumed he did, not that it was a coincidence.

Just diffusing a bomb and saving her life won't cut it Bones. Elvis had to do an awful lot more than save her life just the once......

Somehow, I don’t think Georgie is a single malt girl and, Bones, you need to rescue her at least another four times including taking a bullet for her.

So, Bones really thinks he's got a chance with Georgie?

You need to do an awful lot more than that to win Georgie over Bones.

Strange how the married bit didn't emerge until much later on - like an after thought. At this point it really feels like a different story was intended.

I wonder how Peanut and Spanner view Bones and his one night stands?

Rab has really mucked up with Maisie but doesn't know it.

Now we have one of those girly chats that doesn't involve "Let's go off by ourselves into very dangerous territory and rescue everyone by ourselves."

How can Maisie say this now and yet in Bangladesh say the opposite.

Bones is easily led if he went off with Miss Bunny Boiler.

Strange how Maisie goes from saying you can't get over someone to later on telling Georgie not to be a nun and look where that leads.

Hey, guys, we’re blaming Bones, but what if he was pounced by the nurse, who has form ...

After this episode, the storyline goes downhill rapidly I think.

Ok, finished messing up in Nigeria...where shall we go next?? I know Belize needs some of the Two Section special treatment - "Can we F...up? Yes we can!!"

Yeah, it’s as if something went wrong with the production team. There were changes between Belize and later. Liked Belize for John Michael as the Brig, but even there there were huge cracks in the story and inane contrivances.

Hi everyone. Thanks for all those comments. Certainly reenforced the feelings I had as the Nigeria tour progressed. It all seemed that the intended route girl the story suddenly changed. Every character seemed to go a bit haywire. Am sure they had different intentions for the Bones character!

Wonder if it was a brand new producer who charged in with all new ideas or. whether Olly Rix had a flexible contract where he asked to leave because some other Role had turned up. Certainly weird.

Hi Magi. I think I am right in saying Olly Rix had expected to be in more episodes and the storyline changed. I read it somewhere. I wonder if it was in the Radio Times. Am sure Rhu or eejit could bear me out.

Yes ilove and Magi there was a magazine article - previously linked here I think - which said there had been changes on the production team and it sounded as if he wasn't happy about the story for Bones and implied (not sure if it's true or not) that wasn't what he had been lead to believe. It certainly feels as if the Bones character in Nigeria is different and there's a suggestion that there might be more interaction with Georgie. It's weird that when he eventually gets to take over Two Section the fact that he'd previously tried to make a move on her never comes up. I think it all lacked consistency, a bit like that comment both eejit and I mentioned where Maisie moves from saying you can't ever get over Elvis to suggesting Georgie totally goes for it - with CJ as it turns out - really?
