Tennis thread: towards the end of the season, lots of tennis still to be played!

Hi all, I wasn't sure if Raahh was around so I thought I would start a new thread (thanks ferrier) in case of any urgent tennis news that we might need to start posting about immediately! I'm looking forward to Shanghai this week

it does, so ignoring the Brothers as a pair, Mahut is in 8th spot, but hasn't got the points yet.

BBC is showing it - I think they have got it for a few more years. Fingers crossed for an appearance from AC!!

Poor delpo  but still very much looking forward to London.
It's shown on BBC I believe but last year was a bit hit and miss as far as the kept changing channels and missing games whilst doing so.
Does anyone know if Rafa is a definite for London, or is he seeing how this week goes?

Oh I really hope Rafa is there. It seems so long since he's played. I NEED to see him!

Hoping that Rafa will be in London but he never seems to have much success there.

Saw a bit of Paire’s hair yesterday - would love to see a matching beard . I wonder if Gasquet will try and compete with that look!

Will hopefully get to watch a bit of tennis later - my teenage DSs are hogging it at the minute - grrr!

Just seen that it’s Rafa v verdasco tomorrow - hope it’s on later as I’m at work tomorrow. Should be a good match - hopefully not too close though (I don’t want to be getting too stressed this early in the tournament)

Delpo's manager has now tweeted that actually, Delpo hasn't made a decision on London yet, the splint is off and he is doing rehab. But... Doesn't it start in two weeks? Don't risk it DelPo!!

I'm hoping to see Rafa tomorrow as well. Saw a bit of Verdasco's match earlier - looking very solid. It feels like he's played a lot of tennis since the US Open whereas Rafa has played none... So that could be a tough match for Rafa I think... Hopefully he comes through it ok though.

Oh bless him but I agree it's too much of a risk surely for him to play.

Fingers crossed for Rafa tomorrow, I've just treated myself to a sky sports so I can watch it 

I do hope Rafa can get some good rounds out of this, and I really hope London isn't in doubt. Verdasco has bern playing well, so I've got everything crossed.

Poor Juan- I just hope he doesn't make the mistake offering to return before fully recovered- if he has to wait to January, that's surely better than risking another long term injury.

I'm just watching the scores of the Raonic match, it looks very close.

Great shot from Tsonga there but Raonic managed to return it. The crowd rooting for Tsonga unsurprisingly.

Ah I missed the end. I was hoping Jo-Wili was going to win.

I was score watching, looked very close. I like both of them, I would like to see Raonic do well. He meets Federer tomorrow - who finally decided to commit to playing.
I'm definitely team Raonic for that match.

Did anyone see the boy mascot who walked out on to court with Cilic earlier?! It was hilarious, he was waving to the crowd like they were all there for him!! Marin was finding it pretty funny.
