How old was the baby?

I missed the ex-wife in court, but saw the daughter and grandmother. I think whatever’s happened to the baby is down to the father and also thought it was weird how the baby was crying throughout until the plane landed and we haven’t heard a peep since. I found it stressful to watch, but finding the jumping around in time a bit annoying.

I thought the baby was v little, so is that still Lochia? Sure i bled for about 4 weeks. Unless pp are right and she expects a period. But then, I didn't have periods for 15months after giving birth. I'm reading too much in t this.

Bit unfair to say she was unattached to her baby, she was exhausted and overwhelmed but obviously cares/loves him.

I remember feeling like that, I was still very much attached to dd!

I don't think the baby was in the car to start with. I can't remember him crying since she woke up at the end of the flight. She hid him from the woman in the rented house. So we haven't actually seen or heard him do anything since the flight.

The husband/partner/dad is a bastard. The baby's mum isn't particularly pleasant and doesn't seem to love the baby. Infact the only even partially likeable one so far is the ex-wife and I think we are meant to be suspicious of her with her spade.

Did we see the husband in court? Alastair?

Can't remember if it was answered, but generally speaking, Aus law will retain an Australian child in Australia with the resident parent.
