Cant see another thread - anyone watching?

OP posts:
Bestseller · 14/10/2018 22:08

Does the book jump around like this? I might have to read it so I have a clue what I've watched.

HollowTalk · 14/10/2018 22:16

I know when they are on the plane, Ali gives the baby something in the dropper. I think he either deliberately gave the baby the mum's meds or did it accidentally. He definitely knows it was his fault, which is why he burned the bib and is making Jo think it's her fault.

He's a scummy gaslighter, BUT I think Jo's very odd - she looks serene and I don't think you would ever look serene again if you lost your baby.

HollowTalk · 14/10/2018 22:17

I think there's going to be a huge twist next week and Jo will be found to be a baddie.

Clawdy · 14/10/2018 22:17

I've reported comments on here about real life cases, and so have many others, apparently. This is supposed to be a thread about a television drama.

KarlDilkington · 14/10/2018 22:20

So this thread will be pulled probably. Such a shame people had to bring it up again.

Oratory1 · 14/10/2018 22:21

More likely she worked out he killed noah

Bestseller · 14/10/2018 22:23

I hope the thread isn't pulled. They could just delete those posts, they have no bearing on the actual thread

stumpyteapot · 14/10/2018 22:23

Just get comments deleted !

Bloody ridiculous though

goingtotown · 14/10/2018 22:23

KittyLane 21.39

Do you want this thread to be pulled down ?

Bestseller · 14/10/2018 22:25

I wonder if there's significance in the serene/happy look on her face while she was gazing at the ruined property, before (we think) she knew baby was dead.

HollowTalk · 14/10/2018 22:27

Some disgusting references to a real case here. This is a dramatisation of a novel, ffs.

KittyLane1 · 14/10/2018 22:27

I really don't want the thread to be pulled. I am enjoying sharing theories about the show.

You can read and take my comments however you like, I have not named anyone or anything.

I can't believe someone would tell on other posters to MN, I mean really ladies are we all 12??

I'll leave the thread now but I'll leave this here:
If you are seeing similarities and making comparisons between this case and a real one, maybe you should sit down and ask yourself why that might be?

KarlDilkington · 14/10/2018 22:29

Fuck sake, just piss off love.

Delatron · 14/10/2018 22:29

Yes Hollowtalk. I commented ages ago about the contrast in Jo in the current scenes. Very serene and controlled for someone who has lost their baby and murdered their husband. She looks like a different person.

3in4years · 14/10/2018 22:30

So he says he buried the baby at the beach but he is a liar. Were the diggers at the beach? Is that why she keeps going to the beach?
So I think he killed the baby on purpose. Clearly she has killed him. But was it self defence? Does he try to kill her?
Best thing I've seen on TV for a while.

HollowTalk · 14/10/2018 22:32

I think he found the baby a nuisance. He clearly hadn't bonded with him - poor baby as his mum hadn't, either.

I just don't know why you wouldn't call for an ambulance. Even if they'd given the wrong meds, you wouldn't be charged with anything.

StormcloakNord · 14/10/2018 22:32

Happy for my comments to be deleted. Didn't realise it was that much of a taboo subject Confused

HollowTalk · 14/10/2018 22:32

I think it's surprising they haven't had people on the plane say that they saw both parents give the child meds.

RonniePickering · 14/10/2018 22:33

Surely there won’t be enough time left next week to show Jo as an arch manipulator, there’s only an hour left?

Plus the scene with Alex when he went round and bullied and frightened her.

3in4years · 14/10/2018 22:33

I hate that he just walked into the room at the police station though. That wouldn't happen. I wonder what role the MIL plays. She knows most out of any outsider.

stumpyteapot · 14/10/2018 22:34

I've reported my comment

(Under duress) Confused

HollowTalk · 14/10/2018 22:34

I don't understand why she's being tried in Scotland. Next week they must both come back home, then.

3in4years · 14/10/2018 22:35

I agree. Ali is the baddie. And the significance of the coffees mentioned a few times. I think he killed the baby then. But I disagree that the mother hadn't bonded. She found it hard but that doesn't mean she didn't bond at all.

Clawdy · 14/10/2018 22:35

He's an absolute knob, but there is no way he killed his child on purpose. If so, the story becomes improbable rubbish with an evil pantomime villain. Hoping for a more subtle conclusion next week.

Sunflowersforever · 14/10/2018 22:35

Countdown to thread being pulled has begun. Thanks goes to @KittyLane1
