Karyatide you can also make vegan meringues that way, I believe. has anyone tried it?

I am currently OUT. Not only out, but also on a big train, en route. Slightly under duress, entirely due to the fact I needed to be in another country, apparently. No baking was harmed during this episode.

I wasn't remotely offended ppeat. I actually thought that I rarely left the house (my tv seat never gets cold), but when I counted up, I realised that I DO go out - though I don't like to. So who's been sitting in MY chair.

You can make eggless mousse using the liquid from a can of chickpeas, fyi. you can also make vegan meringues that way, I believe. has anyone tried it? I would rather eat earwax (my own)

I'm not good with eggs so I did try with the liquid from a tin of white beans NAH !!!! It's funny what we've all been bought up to use, we find it almost impossible to THINK of using something different let alone using it!!!! There's a vegan week soon isn't there? I'm not a proper vegan but I find I feel soooo much better without eating dairy products.

So what did it taste like ppeat?

Errrmm I couldn't stand the smell let alone the taste I chickened out of using it! Maybe with a lot of sugar! But I'm not a sugar freak either. The Japnese use beans in cakes and I made HFW's recipe for choc. bean cake which is nice is you remember to call it a brownie/fudge cake!!!!

I won't be watching live tonight. My car has died and is now in the garage so I'm in the pub waiting for DH to get off a train. This was originally so we could do the 30 min walk home together but having remembered that neither of us have done a shop and there's no food in the house, we now have to stay in the pub for dinner

Not currently thinking about what time I need to get up in the morning to get the bus to work

Oh FFS, I just checked the bus timetable and it takes 1h15mins plus the 25 min walk afterwards as it doesn't stop anywhere near my school.

Probably won't watch until tomorrow as I am not a morning person and will definitely need an early night!

If my DH can choose to work from home, why can't I Skype in a lesson?
