That's what I think as well Flaming. It bugs the hell out of me that she's considered the record holder anyway, as so many of her wins were in the pre-open era. The record is Steffi's really IMHO.

But even if she doesn't do it tonight, surely Serena will do it sooner or later?

Isn't the record Serena's then? Think she's won more than Steffi.

Serena looks so uncomfortable she's constantly adjusting her outfit. I'm all for her wearing what she wants but surely being physically comfortable would help...?
How cool was Osaka there though, she didn't flinch....fingers crossed she can hold it together.

I agree Mama I'm all for wearing what you want but she looks hot & uncomfortable in what's almost a short ball gown.

Agree that the real competition is with Steffi. Hope Serena can put it beyond doubt. Naomi is exciting for the future, amazing athlete.

I think her dress is actually getting in the way...she keeps hitting the tutu thing.
I'm not either tokoyo I think serena will come back, the crowd are massively behind her which will help.

The only positive thing I can say about Serena's dress, is that it looks marginally better in black than in the lilac.
