I’m still up and watching - I never thought I’d say it but I think I’m in favour of the fifth set tiebreak. Not saying this match will go to one but some matches could go on forever.

I agree Fizzy - some matches just need to be put out of their misery. Like that one.

But maybe, eg in Rafa's match last night, if the match is good and exciting they should play until 10-all or something and then have a tie break.

What do you think of the crowd noise? Seems pretty disrespectful and the umpire isn't getting through to them. Too little too late. I'm all for different tournaments having different atmospheres but... Seems particularly surprising when there's a U.S player playing.

The crowds are just getting worse all the time. The best behaved crowds all year were at the German tournaments.

I didn't see it but they are just talking about it on the Tennis Podcast - saying it was v disrespectful etc. Sounds v annoying

Did anyone see Jimmy Connors interview? He was great, they talked to him about his 1991 run at the USO, when he was 39, it was great hearing him talk about it.

They are also talking about Shorts Gate! As well as Delpo, milkman also wanted to change his shorts, and he just agreed it with Novak and went off! Now that's sensible.
