My heart rate still hasn’t returned to normal. What an absolutely EPIC show!!!! Bring on season 3. June has seen that Gilead is getting weaker, potential alliance in Commander Lawrence and with Emily on the outside.... OMG.....

I guess Commander Lawrence would have had to cover up Aunt Lydia's death in order to get Emily out?

I'm disappointed. They are gonna kill her. What was the point in staying just to die? She is no good to Hannah dead. Very frustrating.

I've never said that what Cinderella did was right.

All I have literally said is that people should calm down, calling people fat and cunts for a spoiler is a bit ridiculous.
And I've merely pointed out that discussing a tv programme could lead to spoilers for other people.

Because of this I am now having abusive comments hurled my way. Lovely.

Exactly! If I haven't watched anything, I wait before I go on a thread.

I missed an episode as I was out and had to do +1. I avoided the thread until I'd seen the missed episode, and then caught up on the thread and commented at the end

Am I the only one who finds it hard to believe that a man like Commander Lawrence could ever have been involved with establishing Gilead in the first place? He seems the antithesis of alll things Gilead-ian.

I so hope she finds a way to find Hannah, my partner was literally cheering when Emily got Aunt Lydia haha (Well until I shushed him!)

If Emily's son is 7, does that mean that it's 3 years since Gilead started or was he younger when he went to Canada?

I don't think it was made clear if she survived or not? My guess is she did and will be back next series. Will she join the resistance?

I don't get why you don't get it Willow. Read what I've just said. It's very very normal to avoid a thread if you are behind or out, or catching up on plus 1. I don't know why you can't understand that.

Up until now I've really enjoyed the thought provoking threads and got so much out of them, and learnt some things too.

Bit spiteful to spoil though as we all text and watch at the same time x no one wants to know an ending half way through a show to be fair if we wanted spoilers there's the us thread isn't there? I put my pyjamas on 15 mins before the end and then read this thread after I watched it

Haven't posted on these threads before but just wanted to say thank you wonderful posters - the discussions on here have really heightened my enjoyment of the programme.

Loved the last episode and liked how the first season ended with June getting in the back of a van to who knows where, and the second season ended with her daughter doing the same.

Roll on Season 3!

I think it's great that they stayed true to the book as the epilogue mentions the Underground Femaleroad which must have been the Marthas.

Wow. I was so willing June to leave but can understand her not wanting to leave Hannah.
Loved the Martha network and Serena turning, which must have give ajune the strength to go back.

It really was! So satisfying to watch, I love the acting and the tight storylines. This thread has helped to shed a whole new light on it though.

Is there a new series next year?
