Omg omg omg!!! What an ending.... but what next for June? How is she gonna explain the missing baby ? How will Emily's commander hide evil aunt Lydias body? What will happen to Nick? Coz clearly now he was in on the baby being taken after his actions with the commander. Surely June can't hide outside ?

SisterNotCisTerf · 12/08/2018 22:25

Also Loved C. Lawrence’s ‘stay away from drugs’ parting line. I actually laughed!

Me too!! Grin

I just can't imagine how Season 3 will pan out.

A whole year to wait

Up your arse Cinderella.

HannahnotAgnes · 12/08/2018 22:26

I can see how she'd be torn though - could you willingly leave one child behind? She knows Nicole will be safe with Emily but Hannah isn't safe & now she knows there is help within to rescue Hannah.

DidimusStench · 12/08/2018 22:26

What is Holly/Nichole supposed to eat whilst she is being smuggled?

THIS!! My first thought was noooooo she’ll be hungry soon!

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 12/08/2018 22:26

It's not like she can go back to the Waterford's after scrawling on the wall, I hope it picks up immediately were it left off. Where can she go? Lawrence?

I think it likely also that Luke could reject that baby. Moura won't though.

theredjellybean · 12/08/2018 22:27

Willow... The thing is this is the UK pace thread.. Not the 'when willow has had a chance to watch thread'

WillowDogs · 12/08/2018 22:27

Celticlassie

Unpleasant because all I said to deserve being told to fuck off was to calm down?

Nelumbo · 12/08/2018 22:27

Nick is going to be pretty pissed off I think

SisterNotCisTerf · 12/08/2018 22:28

willow every single THT thread has been a live commentary on the broadcast episode. Every single one. If you’ve been following the threads you will know that each one discusses what is happening as it’s happening. There really is no possible expectation of not seeing the same on the final episode thread.

Namechanger2015 · 12/08/2018 22:28

If you were the Marthas and then you found out June had not escaped, surely you'd be fuming??

I thought the same - they all risked their lives to help her escape and she chose not to.

But hopefully they will never know and she will go undercover to get them all out.

kashleesi · 12/08/2018 22:28

I was willing her to take off the white cap when she was running, might as well have had a bat signal on her

Is Aunt Lydia dead?

Roussette · 12/08/2018 22:29

Willow... you are not understanding.

If you haven't watched the programme or are 10 minutes behind or whatever, you are not (if you've got an ounce of common sense) go on a UK pace thread that is watching it live and discussing it!

It's like the fact I am not on US speed with it so I've not googled anything to do with HT for fear of spoilers.

And up until tonight, it had worked, then a nasty poster decided to come on and post the actual ending half way through the very last episode.

All the threads have worked, we've had a great discussion all the way through and tonight someone comes on and spoils it.

theredjellybean · 12/08/2018 22:29

And if you have been on the thread before you'll know we discuss as it is being shown.. So why did you read it if you hadn't watched?
But some of the name calling is not on. Really.

JuneOsbourne · 12/08/2018 22:29

THIS!! My first thought was noooooo she’ll be hungry soon!

Not just my babies then?! Grin

DrinkReprehensibly · 12/08/2018 22:29

I think Aunt Lydia will survive. I wonder who will pick up her role whilst she recovers and what it will all mean. Will the handmaids be able to rally together whilst she's incapacitated? Will there be doubts amongst the other Aunts like the Wives?

WhyDoesItAlways · 12/08/2018 22:29

I thought commander Lawrence said stay away from God which made me like him more.

I think June has two allies in Gilead. Serena has turned enough to know it's not a good place for women, enough to let June get 'her' baby out.

Not sure what nick is going to do with Fred though. surely if he lets him live he will end up on the wall. But then maybe he would anyway if he shot him.

whiteonesugar · 12/08/2018 22:29

Oh my word what an ending. I totally get it. You can’t save one child from gilead and not the other! But how frustrating to be so close to escape.

Commander L is brilliant. Stay away from drugs - perfect.

I just wish the new series started next week!

CageyBee · 12/08/2018 22:29

The thing is that June is now underground. No one knows she’s still in Gilead apart from
Those on the outside. So she stands a better chance of getting to Hannah.

Alwaystired122 · 12/08/2018 22:30

Just checking in for when I watch the episode tomorrow :-)

SisterNotCisTerf · 12/08/2018 22:30

Wrt June, she has just discovered there is an underground network that includes commanders, she knows there is a will in some of the wives for change, she is angry for serena, she has secured her baby’s escape, she knows she can go back and fight.
