Yep Willow. All about everyone else. That's you.

There's no way June can go back to the Waterford's again now. That would be beyond ridiculous. She needs to ditch those red robes pronto though. Hope she ends up with CL (mainly cos I want to see more of old man Josh! Wink)

Bringonspring · 12/08/2018 23:07

Oh my goodness!!! Though I am a little cyclical around ‘well of course June didn’t get in the van they need her for series 3’

Interesting what PP put around Lawrence commenting on wages.

Thanks for a great thread ladies. I’ve followed and posted since the beginning!

Clawdy · 12/08/2018 23:07

Interesting she wants the baby to be Nichole.

BlueSkyBurningBright · 12/08/2018 23:07

Thank you all. I thought it might have been.

MazDazzle · 12/08/2018 23:07

Ah, so it was.

I’m interested by th fact it was a white bible, like the ones you get in Sunday school. All of the ones I’ve seen in Gilead are black. Am I right in thinking that in Gikead they only follow the Old Testament? Might this be a copy with with New Testament too? Eden quoted from the NT before she was executed.

HannahnotAgnes · 12/08/2018 23:07

I agree Maz - I think that was the trigger, so once that happened they had to go for it otherwise likely they'd kill a lot of handmaids to 'atone' for the attack on AL.

SisterMoonshine · 12/08/2018 23:07

It seems Fred has been harbouring a few traitors.

Roussette · 12/08/2018 23:08

Yes inquiq it was a complete description of the ending about half an hour in. Followed by calling us all worse than Commanders or some such drivel on and on Grin

Is that what she wrote on the wall? I got that completely wrong! I thought it was all Commanders are Bastards or similar Grin

I presume medication or something to prevent infection was in that bag, Maz. Either that or her finger. Shock

cavycavy · 12/08/2018 23:09

I’m a bit muddled re. The handmaiden who had her tongue cut out. She did the suicide bomb right? Yet when the 4 handmaids we’re out walking a very similar handmaid was walking, silently, with them. Who is she?

Ansumpasty · 12/08/2018 23:09

The exploration of the strength of women in this series is just so powerful, IMO.

Of course she couldn’t leave, there’s no way that she would abandon Hannah. Both symbolically and literally, the women are just hacked apart and yet they remain standing.
I’m also a romantic and hope that, along with Hannah, she’s going back for Nick ;)

MadgeMak · 12/08/2018 23:09

FFS. Willow, you aren't getting a hard time because you defended against name calling. You are getting a hard time because you said Cinderella wasn't in the wrong because everyone is posting spoilers anyway, as some people might not have watched the episode yet. This is a UK paced thread, therefore anything that has been aired on the UK episode is fair game and therefore not a spoiler. Not sure why that's hard to understand TBH.

JuneOsbourne · 12/08/2018 23:09

Believe me, I have read all of your many and unvaried comments.

psicat · 12/08/2018 23:10

Willow - I think I agree with a PP that you are cinderella in another form. Either way you are a troll now. Shhh please, we're trying to talk about the TV show. If you want to join in please do but we are talking about the show.

My major spoiler (thanks Google) was that June stayed but I actually agree with how it was done - no way could she leave Hannah behind after all that has happened.

On a practical side she would have been handy to feed the baby and keep her quiet...

No way can she go back to the Waterfords - and what's going to happen to nick? Feels like he's going to end up on the wall 🤔

Go Marthas too! And more brilliant acting from everyone. I can't wait until next year!

HannahnotAgnes · 12/08/2018 23:10

Rousette, it was the quote she found from inside the wardrobe (that was later sandpapered off) saying 'don't let the bastards grind you down' in pig Latin

inquiquotiokixul · 12/08/2018 23:10

I was surprised to see cdr Lawrence as in on the escape plan. When first he and then Fred a few minutes later each independently noticed that their Marthas were AWOL it was obvious that the Marthas were Up To Something. Given that, it seems strange that the Thing they were Up To included him. Unless his Martha was able to return from the planning meeting and just tell him what to do. Was he only even told because Emily attacked Aunt Lydia and piggybacking an Escape for Emily onto the pre-planned escape for June was a last minute addition?

whenskiesaregreyRETURNS · 12/08/2018 23:10

Seriously @willow let it go!

MazDazzle · 12/08/2018 23:10

How long have you been on MN Willow?

WillowDogs · 12/08/2018 23:11

I never once said I agreed with Cinderella for fuck sake! Can any of you read?

I said everyone could potentially be spoiling it for anyone else who could be a few seconds behind. I did not say once that it made it ok for Cinderella to give away the ending!

Roussette · 12/08/2018 23:12

Ahhh thanks Hannah I was holding my breath at that point and couldn't focus properly Grin

WillowDogs · 12/08/2018 23:12

June so I'm out of order for saying calm down it's a tv show?

WitchSharkadder · 12/08/2018 23:13

Cavy, that handmaid was just an extra. I think she did say a line.

I wish they’d have used Alma though, I’ve missed her this last couple of episodes. I’d love to know more about her.

CageyBee · 12/08/2018 23:13

I haven’t read the novels but plan to as soon as I can get them delivered! But- without spoiling it for others and if it’s a spoiler please don’t tell me...

I noticed that the Marthas are a range of races whereas all the Handmaids seemed to be white. Is this purposeful? As in - “we want a white baby”?

MazDazzle · 12/08/2018 23:13

I’m assuming that since there was a plan in place to save Nichole/Holly, then there’s bottles milk in the escape car?
