So, classic Eastenders starts airing on the UKTV Drama channel from tomorrow! Two episodes from noon, and they’ll also be on UKTV catchup.

I watched Thursdays - (only one episode appeared on catch up)

Sharon has announced to the punters that 'er 'n' Grunt are getting married in the New Year .
I thought they had a Boxing Day wedding (and Grant bought her wedding outfit as a surprise , cream lace 2 piece , surprisingly tasteful)

Clyde is in prison, Mar& Rachel are chasing wild geese looking for Joe , Rachel is waiting for her HIV test results .

And loads of references to Christmas Xmas Grin

Franks a nasty piece of work constantly shouting in pats face or at the kids or passing residents.
And did pat stipulate 'I must only be seen cooking fry ups while wearing an outrageous apron and reminiscing about my past while smoking a faaaag for the next 3 years' in her contract?
Also they all literally have a fry up every day
On the day frank was worrying about finances he went and had two triple brandies then straight to the cafe for fried food and tea. Not a penny pincher

Been very depressing storylines this week when I could have done with being cheered up.

Re Grant I never fancied him (unlike a lot of people back in the day) but I don't remember him being so boring and unattractive. I don't understand what Sharon sees in him. They barely went out before the got married. Is he supposed to be like Den? Because at least Den had a bit of mystery about him, and a bit of charisma and status that some go for. Grant manages to be both boring and unhinged. The wanting to get Sharon pregnant is very trying.

In the 90's I was not quite a teenager and I was horrified by Sharon and Phil, felt really sorry for grant.
This time, I can't believe how awful Grant is and I'm team Phil and Sharon

I'd forgotten how awful Grant was! ShockIf I remember rightly, Nigel really helped the Grant character. Ross Kemp wasn't a great actor in the early days.

I think.they have been missing out quite a few episodes recently because quite a few storylines have,nt quite seemed ro !ale sense ? Last week Mark threw Mandy out of the Squat and they're next episode they are all pally again ?,Ian and Ronnie had appeared to have split up with no explanation,but he doesn't want to listen to her excuses ?And than yesterday they were back together? When Pauline came home Mark was visiting Gills ,parents but yesterday he was in bed with Mandy? Anyway they seem to be setting the storyline for Cindy to be coming back
