Yep 👍 ready looks good

flopsyrabbit1 · 31/07/2018 21:15

yep but so reminds me of "cutting it"

LARLARLAND · 31/07/2018 21:23

What did she see on the phone?

DaisyChainsForever · 31/07/2018 21:32

I'm watching. Not sure what to make of it yet.

Graphista · 31/07/2018 21:40

It was a photo of her husband in bed with his pt.

Watching - very similar to cutting it. He was in cutting it too.

flopsyrabbit1 · 31/07/2018 21:40

a pic of her DP asleep and a women awake taking a selfie together

Graphista · 31/07/2018 21:44

Oh please! So Robson greens character will get the blame? Nobody forced him to sleep with her.

flopsyrabbit1 · 31/07/2018 21:54

no RG is planning on being with her,so wants the affair to start

flopsyrabbit1 · 31/07/2018 21:58

bit predictable but will stay with it unless something great is on

LARLARLAND · 31/07/2018 22:00

Thanks for the replies.

DaisyChainsForever · 31/07/2018 22:04

Thought it was a bit slow to get to the point, hopefully the rest of the series will move a bit faster.

Graphista · 31/07/2018 22:07

This is my problem with British dramas generally - too slow and too short! Only 6 episodes this one.

The programme makers need to sort this out, American and even Australian are much better.

IcedPurple · 31/07/2018 22:08

I enjoyed it well enough and will watch again - the great Polly Walker is eminently watchable as always ... but am I the only one really bored of male infidelity as a plot device?

Flowersonthewall · 31/07/2018 22:14

It's cutting it but 20 years on! Very similar..set up!

Timefortea99 · 31/07/2018 22:31

Middle aged women got a bit of a kicking. Not worth bothering with apparently after a certain age. That misogyny and the overblown characters, and the feeling I have seen it before, a turn off for me.

UrsulaPandress · 31/07/2018 22:49

I found it really hard work.

Very disappointed.

Deadringer · 01/08/2018 00:51

I liked it. I love the pace of British dramas, much prefer them to American ones where everything is thrown at you all at once. It helps that the plumber is very handsome. He can take a look at my pipes any time.

southeastdweller · 01/08/2018 07:56

The writer also wrote Cutting It but why she decided to do a reboot of her own show is beyond me when the results were so predictable. I don't think I'll bother watching the rest of the series.

The acting in Cutting It was much better - the sisters in this are caricatures. Far too similar a concept too. DP said he thought the behaviour of RG's character was too far-fetched to be believable.

unique1986 · 01/08/2018 12:25

I liked it more than I thought I would.

endofthelinefinally · 01/08/2018 12:28

I couldn't get into it. DH wanted to watch it but I lost interest.
He always has to ask me who is who and what is going on, so I doubt we will bother next week.Grin

LadyDuplo · 01/08/2018 15:40

I didn't enjoy it. Slow and predictable and I just couldn't warm to the family.

eternalopt · 01/08/2018 17:18

Poor mans cutting it. I agree with others - why reboot your own show! Similar characters, setting and storylines! BBC could've saved a fortune and just shown the re runs.

mydogisthebest · 01/08/2018 18:37

I was looking forward to it but didn't enjoy it at all. It was pretty boring and, of course, the guy couldn't stop himself having an affair could he? Pathetic

EachandEveryone · 02/08/2018 19:39

What happened to Sarah Parrish? Havent seen her in anything for ages
