80s he made the second round- once. Grin

anyone could be the British number one when AC was around. But I think even he is aware of that Grin.

Jane Grin Miss AC? Never.

But yes, we would never know about the padded seats at Queen's and beards, without him.

I'm tempted to have a snooze until the doubles comes on.

kazzaD66 · 15/07/2018 15:39

jane like a hangover
the80s he barely made the first round. Thank God for wildcards Hmm

Raahh · 15/07/2018 15:41

Yes, I think wildcards made some of the Brits believe they were better than they were for a big chunk of the 80's/90's.

Without them, they would all have lost in qualifying.

Come on Kevin!!

Make a set of it, at least.

Actually I do believe AC did make a semi final at W once? I cba to look it up tho 🎾

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 15/07/2018 15:44

Ironic - the penultimate shot was a classic Henman stuff-it-into-the-net stroke.

Raahh · 15/07/2018 15:44

80s Shock Grin

No. He made the second round. Once. Tim Henman was the most successful, before Murray came along. He made the semis.

Wayne Ferreira- blast from the past.

The80sweregreat · 15/07/2018 15:47

I always thought AC did better than that.
Tim did win the ATP once. He even beat Feds once too. Longgg time ago now

Raahh · 15/07/2018 15:48

AC is desperate to know what Novak's other 'issues' were.

No-one is going to tell him Grin

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 15/07/2018 15:50

Yes he's not getting anywhere with his interrogation Grin

bookbook · 15/07/2018 15:50

I think slightly earlier players did better? Mark Cox and Roger Taylor spring to mind

PrivateParkin · 15/07/2018 15:51

I used to love Wayne Ferreira. What a forehand! He led the most consecutive Slams streak for a while too. Also - great bone structure.

Finally a couple of decent rallies...

Raahh · 15/07/2018 15:54

Come on Kevin!

No, AC was never any good. He admits that. Hence his career with ITV- his family needed the money Grin

Tim won a few things, but he didn't win the ATP tour finals. He made the semis, iirc.

He is Semi Final Tim. Grin

Yes JJ my 5-a-day liquid lunch. Wink

The80sweregreat · 15/07/2018 15:54

I bet AC is a true male gossip.
They tell him nowt.

The80sweregreat · 15/07/2018 15:55

Aww - I always thought Tim won a cup!
In my head he did.

PrivateParkin · 15/07/2018 15:55

Yes! Everyone is getting into it now.

PrivateParkin · 15/07/2018 15:56

Tim won the Paris masters, didn't he?

Or was that Greg?! Grin

JaneJeffer · 15/07/2018 15:57

Oh Boris you jinxed it!

Raahh · 15/07/2018 15:57

80s I'm sure he won something. But nothing major Grin.

And yy- don't tell AC anything Grin

I like old Tim H though. He should have been a stockbroker - looks the sort to have a pile in Surrey
