Some promising match-ups in Toronto today - Thiem v Tsitsipas, Shagovalov v Fognini, Rafa v Paire. Delpo plays Haase as well.

We don't have BT so I haven't seen any of the women's, but Sharapova plays Kasatkina next - should be good too.

The weather in the US and Canada is terrible. I saw bits and pieces last night before they got rained off. Shagovalov trashed Chardy. Chardy has a lovely beard at the moment.

So happy Stan beat Kygrios. Stan looks so much better in orange than the hideous black and white he had on in Washington!

I saw a little bit of Ferrer the other night. He just looks worn out.

I'm finding the Sky commentary so boring. They haven't even got Peter Fleming to give me a laugh.

Delpo is out of Toronto with pain in his left wrist apparently he could only slice his backhand during the Los Cabos final against Fognini, I didn't realise that as I didn't see any of it. That doesn't sound good at all.

I'm just watching Raonic v Tiafoe - I presume it's love even though it doesn't actually say so (I'll just keep believing it is, to add to the excitement ) and there's hardly anyone there - even for the local hero! Perhaps the rain's put them off??

I see Shagovalov was ahead against Fognini - not sure if that's suspended/still going on or what.

That speaker that Paire complained about seems to be buzzing again. Very annoying.

They've switched over to Shagovalov v Fognini, where the commentators are talking about Fabio's hair, which is back to normal btw. He's "letting his follicles breathe", according to the commentator. Sounds like the kind of thing AC would love to discuss.

I could see Foggy's point as he was celebrating a mis hit and not a winning shot of his own. Great tennis from Shagovalov though.
