I don’t want to be unpatriotic, but the constant round-up of “how the Brits are doing” is wearisome.

Mind you, I’m still bitter from the moment I switched to BBC1 to see what match they were showing and it was the bastarding football!

The Brit thing does annoy me- but I do think that Jay has a real future- I hope he is managed well, and keeps healthy. Hopefully in the same way Kyle seems to have done- he has progressed steadily, and is now doing really well.

Such a shame for Thiem, but he could probably do with the time off!!

Jay Clarke played well today. The first time I've seen him lay. I was reading that he gets racial abuse online after every match he thinks it's from gamblers who lose their bets.
