Can't believe it time for Queen's again. Hope the weather holds out- bit gloomy in the north west.

Sitting with the sun on you can be horrible. When we went to Wembley, for the women's FA cup final (dd1 was in a parade), we had the sun on us for the whole time- except the last 10 minutes. I could barely see the pitch .

Well done Kyle - sounds as if bolt is coming back to tennis having taken some time out - don’t know the full story but one of the reasons seems to be that he was fed up of the cost of competing.

Clarke has just lost but sounds as if he’s had a really good match - it was his first grand slam match.

Sounds like an amazing day one - I was on no 1 court last year and it was very hot and there was no shade as they were doing the roof. My sunglasses slid off my nose - not a good look. Glad you enjoyed the Grigor/Wawrinka match. Some of the earlier matches can be a bit tame so good that you saw a good, competitive match.
