I have a crush on Dylan, I think he is a sarky genius. Just my type.

Auldspinster · 17/08/2018 12:53

Not usually into blond men but I'd make an exception for Dylan (if he wasn't a fictional character).

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/08/2018 14:51

Just seen week before lasts wow

Behind as usual

Purplemond · 17/08/2018 22:28

Dylan looked good in his Blue tshirt in last week episode

zukiecat · 18/08/2018 20:46

Why does everyone love Dylan so much?

I can't stand him, never could Confused

HettySunshine · 18/08/2018 20:47

Where's Eddie?!

purpleme12 · 18/08/2018 20:48

I am a Dylan lover!

Bunnybigears · 18/08/2018 22:10

So for some reason people can pop.from A&E to the ambulance station at a moment's notice but it was too far for Ian to pick up a dying woman and run round there. Also why didnt she phone 999 rather than Ian? Also there are houses right opposite she could have stumbled outside and alerted someone she needed help. I wasnt impressed.

I wondered how come they seem to be leaving Sam out on the slab for such a long time, particularly in an unstaffed morgue. Surely they'd have shoved her in the fridge?

But then I wondered whether that wasn't meant to be real, and was just a clunky attempt to show what's going on in Ian's head, given that it was accompanied by his voice-over. Who knows?

Auldspinster · 19/08/2018 01:08

It looked like a post mortem was taking place at the start so I guess that's why she was still in the morgue.

Not sure 'sponsoring' is all Dylan wants to do for Ciara.

ellesbellesxxx · 19/08/2018 08:12

We were shocked that the three paramedics had to clean up the blood at the end.. surely that would have needed a specialist cleaning company?

I was shocked that Iain is in trouble... I know Mia said those things but I thought they were in an attempt to get him to stay?

QueenofmyPrinces · 19/08/2018 09:15

Blake is just awful!!!
I wish Jacob would get rid of that ridiculous beard.

I’m not sure why Iain went mental at those two clown boys? Ok, they’d seen her on the bridge for about 5 seconds before she jumped but how on earth does that make them culpable in any way?

When they gave him their mobile phone to watch the video I thought we were going to see a video of the two boys being idiots and goading her and telling her to jump or something, but it was nothing like that so why was Iain so angry?

Or had the boys shouted something over to her and I missed it??

It was just a bit odd.

purpleme12 · 19/08/2018 09:26

It's just cos Ian's messed up about it all I thought

I hope the wonderful Dylan starts a nice relationship with the woman he is helping.

Finding Rash slightly less annoying. Ruby is driving me mad - and Blake. But he doesn't beat the dreaded Grace.

But by far Blake's mum is the most annoying- pancake 🤣

luckycat007 · 19/08/2018 17:07

And it's ridiculous Iain is getting blamed for Mia.

SerendipityFelix · 19/08/2018 22:10

Just caught up. This week felt a little flat compared to the last few episodes which were so packed. But I guess that’s as we were focusing on the emotional responses of two normally fairly uncommunicative men.

I think Ian getting angry and the prankster vloggers was him expressing his anger at himself. They didn’t stop her. He didn’t stop her. He was talking to himself really, they just allowed him to express it.

I’m a bit disappointed that they seem to be lining up a relationship between Dylan and Keira. Why can’t they just have a platonic supportive relationship fighting alcoholism without it getting sexy. Not that I mind Dylan getting some, but with an AA sponsoree(?) doesn’t seem massively ethical. Are there no other people in Holby?!?

I think the cleaning up at the end was something they wanted to do, not had to do. Or Ian wanted to do, or felt he had to, and Ruby and Jan were supporting him. Ruby’s growing on me I have to say.

And yeah where tf is Eddie? He violently assaulted Alicia, Iain and Ruby know, has he been arrested?!?

frazzled3ds · 19/08/2018 22:50

The closing scenes with Ian, Ruby and Jan cleaning did get me a bit - I agree I think it was something he felt he had to do for Sam. Guess he's heading off screen for a bit now though.

Not sure if there will be a romantic thing between Dylan and Ciara, who knows, be interesting to see how it pans out anyway.

If the snippet trailer on the casualty website is anything to go by I think we will see Eddie back next week.....

SoupDragon · 19/08/2018 23:08

Why were there no other people in the ambulance station? Are there really only 4 paramedics?

HettySunshine · 20/08/2018 07:21

I'm pretty sure the Holby ambulance service only work one shift and then they all have a break at the same time.

SoupDragon · 20/08/2018 08:00

There used to be more than 4 didn’t there? And the controller (who I guess is Jan) was usually in the station and not out and about.

SoupDragon · 20/08/2018 08:00

At least the doctors refer to the other shifts occasionally!
