Maybe he will put the dealer’s body in his car boot and then dump it in the nearby canal......

Chocolateandabook2019 · 02/02/2019 11:13

but I’m glad Duffy had an affair/one night stand/whatever it was.

Sorry, I’m not really glad Duffy had a one night stand. What I meant was that it was a symptom of a marriage that isn’t so much passionate, as safe, so hopefully one or the other will happen: they’ll make the effort, or call it a day.

There must have been something there though that made them get together as a couple?

I still much preferred them before they got together anyway.

Isitmybathtimeyet · 02/02/2019 13:07

Isn't the one night stand meant to be a symptom of her dementia? Behaving in a rash (some might call it interesting) and uncharacteristic way?

purpleme12 · 02/02/2019 13:20

Yes I thought it's supposed to be a symptom of her dementia too

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/02/2019 18:16

Just seen last weeks

Like the old days - good episode

I sure drug dealer won’t be dead. Just knocked out

Hey can’t do that to Ian. He’s tottering on the edge anyway

He will be alive and put away for killing base. I think he injected him

And yes how will Louise feed the bloke from only fools And horses when she can’t feed herself

RedForShort · 02/02/2019 23:01

Well that one was a bit weird. With a surprise about Ross.

TheRealKimmySchmidt63 · 02/02/2019 23:05

Sure was glad Ethan got some backbone n hopefully Iain's lines will be less dramatic/unrealistic from now on
Louise is clearly in a new mission she's moved on from parking it's joe going to be zero tolerance against abuse for staff - which don't get me wrong I agree with you can just see the new crusade bubbling

Bunnybigears · 02/02/2019 23:06

That was all nicely tied up in one episode I thought it was going to rumble on and on and get tedious

It was interesting finding a bit out about Jan

InternetRandomer · 03/02/2019 13:43

Odd that they’ve revealed Jan as being in a same sex relationship given that she replaced Dixie who was also gay. I mean, why not, but she’s very similar physically to Dixie too albeit older. Is there some sort of ambulance in-charge-person stereotype that I didn’t know about?

purpleme12 · 03/02/2019 16:04

It is a bit samey isn't it

Isitmybathtimeyet · 03/02/2019 19:06

Also no clarity on Duffy. Presumably she got some sort of feedback from her concerned-looking GP two episodes ago but she appeared taken aback to have forgotten Charlie's birthday.

I have forgotten my own husband's date of birth many times. I don't, to my knowledge, have dementia.

purpleme12 · 03/02/2019 19:09

The way I took it that episode where she saw the doctor we were supposed to take it that she was diagnosed. That's the way I read it anyway

And I think she's taken aback cos she knows it's a as symptom

Oh ok I didn't know that I was just going on the impression the show gave me

MissEliza · 03/02/2019 22:21

In our house we were ROFL at the 'coincidence' of the drug dealer being Jan's son. Holby is a very small place Wink

CamberGirl · 03/02/2019 22:25

Connie Beachamp is looking really scrawny right now. Has the actress been ill in real life? I always had a bit of a crush on her.

I've not watched Casualty in 20 years but the dc's are old enough to watch it now. Ive already briefed them on #spotthedisaster.

I was right about the dealer swallowing the drugs. The dc's looked at me like I was nuts when explained that's what some drug smugglers do. Every Saturday evenings a new life lesson now.

countrybump · 04/02/2019 16:28

Maybe Ian can stop doing that moody walk now. You know, the one where he puts his hands in his jacket pockets and strides off while glancing off to the side and seeming to stare into the middle distance. I don't know why it is irritating me so much!

Isitmybathtimeyet · 04/02/2019 16:52

It'll be fine. One counselling session and he'll be jolly again.

ButtonMooooon · 04/02/2019 17:24

Was the flashback at the beginning of Jan paying out £600 supposedly bailing Ross out? I am not very au fait with drug dealers but I thought they were mostly loaded?!

RedForShort · 04/02/2019 18:01

I don't recall a flashback!
