Yes I thought he'd be angry at her and she would realise the seriousness of what she'd done too. To be fair I do like her when she's being likeable. There are some likeable things about her. But yes there are a lot of things I don't like mostly the locking him in a cupboard thing

JustDanceAddict · 25/11/2018 14:20

No Duffy either so we don’t know why she’s half collapsing all over the shop.

SoupDragon · 25/11/2018 14:55

I don't think it was at all odd that Ciara was only thinking of herself. I think it fits with her personality.

What I though was odd was Elle not telling New Nurse and Maternity Nurse to stop drooling over that patient. She just rolled her eyes indulgently.

Handbaghag · 25/11/2018 18:36

I don't think Dylan would be so stupid to go into the ward where Joel was without someone else there. And why was there no one there anyways?

purpleme12 · 25/11/2018 18:43

But isn't the point of all this that he's not thinking like he normally would cos of Ciara

Handbaghag · 25/11/2018 18:57

Aye, I guess.

QueenofmyPrinces · 25/11/2018 23:21

Why are there never any air bags in Casualty RTCs??

The Ian and Base storyline is so unbelievably dull. I wish they would buy Ian a new jacket too because the one he wears is horrendous - it makes him look about 10 years older than he is.

The student nurses cooing over the patient was pretty from. And surprise, surprise, the male nurse is gay and camp with it. Not that Casualty believes in ridiculous stereotypes or anything.....

I felt so sad for Dylan at the end because he deserves happiness. I love the way that David was simply allowed to easily slip out of his shift to drive Dylan home only a few moments after Louise had been giving lectures to the students about noticing when other members of staff go missing.. Grin

MissEliza · 26/11/2018 00:11

The male nurse is gay and camp with It I totally agree. It's lazy and boring.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/11/2018 22:25

Awwww poor Dylan

But hopefully she will be back when found herself and get together

Yes silly he went into his room

No one cares about Duffy staggering

Hope ian sorts self out soon

NEw nurse is shaki from ee

frazzled3ds · 01/12/2018 22:06

Just watched again for the first time in several weeks. Hope Ian gets some support, feel quite sorry for him. Wonder if Duffy will fess up re her self diagnosis?

Optimist1 · 01/12/2018 22:26

Why did Duffy leap to the conclusion that dementia was an accurate diagnosis? The button she clicked clearly said potential diagnosis and there were other suggestions (depression being the one I thought likely, although being married to Charlie might possibly cause PTSD?).

SoupDragon · 01/12/2018 23:12

I guess she maybe suspected/was worried about it and it did appear as the top potential diagnosis.

Isitmybathtimeyet · 01/12/2018 23:57

Charlie behaves like he barely knows her. There's zero chemistry there.

purpleme12 · 02/12/2018 01:45

It was a bit like that but then that's how they are isn't it

Optimist it's just that that was what her anxiety latched onto

Optimist1 · 02/12/2018 09:38

I see your reasoning, Soup and purple , but she's a very experienced HCP and should know that the best course of action is to get her GP (or someone within the hospital) to start looking into things.

I seem to remember there was a chemistry between her and Charlie in the old days, but agree with you all that there's none now.

SoupDragon · 02/12/2018 10:11

I think experience goes out the window when you are already suffering from depression/anxiety.

ilovemilton · 02/12/2018 22:30

Dementia was actually my first thought when she first started acting oddly.

WelcomeToGreenvale · 03/12/2018 11:30

With all the bad bits lately aside, I am so glad that Gareth David-Lloyd is going to be in it some more. Swoon. My video game boyfriend.

empmalswa · 03/12/2018 13:47

I think if they had someone who could act it would help the dementia storyline. The one 'OMG' for all face just doesn't cut it.

Isitmybathtimeyet · 03/12/2018 14:47

Both Duffy and Charlie appear to have lost all acting ability. It was quite cringeworthy to watch Charlie's apology scene on Saturday.

QueenofmyPrinces · 03/12/2018 15:50

Duffy is an horrendous actress!!! I’m pretty sure the scriptwriters and producers can see it and so this storyline will be the lead up to her leaving the show (hopefully).

Optimist1 · 03/12/2018 17:33

If your prediction is right, Queen, please let Charlie take the decision to give up his job at the hospital to care for her!

AlasEarwax · 09/12/2018 08:14

Anyone watch last night's one?

SoupDragon · 09/12/2018 08:18

I did. Bit of a "filler" episode I thought.

Worriedmum99 · 09/12/2018 08:43

Although I will watch until it’s (or my) dying day, the acting is getting worse and worse, could have been a really good storyline with Duffy’s infidelity. The winter trailer looks interesting though.
