Hopefully it's an alias for Equity.

Hogtini · 01/09/2018 21:49

More Blake Hmm

Auldspinster · 01/09/2018 22:15

Any Blake is too much. Plus 'walking the dogs' as a euphemismSmile.

Eugh Blake needs to go away now. What was the deal with Duffy's phone do we think it was London's Burning guy calling her? Why was Ian so horrible to Nancy from Eartenders?

LittleCandle · 01/09/2018 22:51

Blake always looks like he's about to cry. If we never see him again, its far too soon! Duffy isn't of the right generation to have her phone out all the time. And would Ian really have been that nasty to Ruby?

Auldspinster · 01/09/2018 23:06

What was Ciara wearing? Looked like a dressing gown.

purpleme12 · 01/09/2018 23:10

It did look like a dressing gown but I think it was one of those long cardis.

Also thinking why is Ian so horrible to Ruby as well.... All she's tired to do is help him and be nice!

I don't think the phone thing is leading to a dementia story

I think it was definitely London's Burning man ringing Duffy. I really don't get the focus on Blake's grief or Jacob's for that matter. Ahh well, probably be forgotten by next week knowing Casualty.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 02/09/2018 00:05

I wanted to give Ian a thick ear for being so nasty to Ruby.

And yes, Dylan needed an x-ray for that crack on the head - when he didn’t have one, I was sure they were setting him up for a dramatic collapse and a brain bleed.

Auldspinster · 02/09/2018 00:26

No Casualty next week, Strictly then last night of the promsSad.

Was that the same church as in Gavin and Stacey? (I've concluded I watch way too much tv after I thought that to myself.)

What the hell has Ruby done that is so bad? She's been more than supportive seeing she risked her own career by lying. Is it the crime of just not being Sam?

Also, meant to post, do you think they used so much of the budget with crash scene that they couldn't have any action in this episode- we saw nothing of fall or motorbike

Auldspinster · 02/09/2018 11:19

Jacob is so wooden.

purpleme12 · 02/09/2018 11:28

Exactly he asks be grateful to Ruby

purpleme12 · 02/09/2018 11:31

*should be grateful

mrswhiplington · 02/09/2018 11:38

You won't be able to get away from Jacob if you're a Strictly fan. He's in it!

Can't stand Blake. Why is he always at the hospital? He's a schoolboy but he never seems to be at school.

mrswhiplington · 02/09/2018 11:39

Should have added I hope Jacob is a better dancer than he is an actor.Grin

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 02/09/2018 12:08

@StripySocksAndDocs - I think Ruby's crime is that she was right about Mia, and Ian should have listened to her.

Gersemi · 02/09/2018 12:35

It’s as if characters have no life outside the hospital.

See also the fact that none of them have relatives who turn up to their weddings, unless said relatives are also employed by the hospital. You'd think some of the Holby employees might have turned up also, given that they would have worked with Sam both as a doctor and a paramedic.

Re Blake: how many 18 year olds, given a day off school because they were upset, would decide to spend the day at their parents' workplace?

MadisonAvenue · 02/09/2018 23:20

Stripy I thought the same about the church being the same one.
