Eddie pleading guilty isn't believable. What did Alicia mean about why he went back to hers?

Eddie’s plea was on the ABH charge, not the rape charge (which I think the CPS/ police might have decided not to pursue). Basically, Alicia was threatening him that if he pleaded not guilty to ABH, when the case went to trial, she would take the stand and explain why he was at her house that night - to ask her to withdraw her accusation of rape. Essentially, she would expose him for something far worse than ABH if he insisted on pleading not guilty.

Not sure how he thought he was going to be found not guilty of ABH given the evidence!

Just came on to say ds2s friend played Luna in tonight's episode. She is a fab little actress. They did a play together two years ago...

Just found this thread. Right I know this is the parallel universe of Casualty but Alicia back at work with visible scabby bits on her FACE yet her arm that was virtually hanging off dead two weeks ago wasn’t even mentioned!? Nothing. This kind of crappy detail (or lack of it) really spoils Casualty for me.

Don’t forget the dislocated elbow!

DS had a dislocat d elbow as a child and it was fine once put back in. Certainly after 2 weeks there was nothing. I suppose the glass-through-the-artery wound wasn’t visible but I would have expected some inability to lift stuff without wincing.

Obvs Alicia is such a fab doctor she’s healed herself right up, double quick . I guess Eddie will be struck off anyway with an ABH conviction. And quite right too. Law of unintended consequences, if he hadn’t assaulted Alicia, leading to Ian and Ruby rushing away from
Mia and her jumping from the bridge, the whole ambulance crash/pile up wouldn’t have happened. Eddie’s assault of Alicia leads directly to Sam’s death. I wouldn’t want to be Eddie if Ian ever sees him again.

I’m the only one who seems to be yawn at Dylan getting with Ciara! Seems too predictable. And unhealthy, if he’s supposed to be supporting her through early days of sobriety, fresh out of detox.

The scene with Dylan and Jacob clearing out Sam’s locker could have been made more of, I thought. Although I guess it was just there to remind us of Dylan’s relationship history.

How many times has Dylan supposed to of been married, when he was talking to Ciara he said, i emptied my ex wifes locker, the dead one ..... i wondered if it was just the way he said it or if he had another ex wife

I think "the dead one" was to clarify that his colleague was his ex-wife rather than specifying one of many ex-wives, mirage - it struck me as a little odd (or just Dylan-speak), too!
