yesterday's excitement I didn't realise how near the end of the thread we were!

Now it's raining- which will not help Nadal.

I really like Schwarztman though...

ok, now I'm getting a bit nervous. Rafa has been broken again, and does not seem to be in a happy place.

It's very rainy. People are leaving.

And the players have gone in, with Rafa down a break in the second.

Just got in finally, to find play suspended-typical.
What on earth is Rafa doing?! Social media speculating he's injured.....?
Not panicking unless he loses this second set though. Rain delay even with the fact that makes conditions tricky might do him some good.
I'm also getting annoyed at hearing about Novak, C was brilliant yesterday, Novak didn't lose it he won it, it was well deserved. I think this perfectly sums up why Djokovic isn't popular, other players, smile and give credit to their opponent. He makes it all about him with his tantrums.

I’ve finished work a bit early and now it’s raining and Rafa has lost the first set and got his wrist taped up? Oh dear.

Did it look as if there was going to be any more play today?

Glad you're home raahh my dds condition is stressful but she was born addicted (she's my dd by adoption) and it could be much worse.

Lady at one point he got both his wrists taped up. Whether the heavy conditions are affecting him I don't know, but he's not playing 'happy'. It all seems a struggle, and Schwartman is doing well, an taking all his chances.

No play before 5.15pm our time is all that they are saying at the moment.

Bit worried- because Rafa takes so long to get going - he needs to break back straight away and then race through the next 3 sets .

Interesting to see how the break will have affected everyone. Agree that Rafa can't afford his usual slow start though. A quick recovery would be good.
Tape is apparently something to do with his grip accords in to Mats.

Thank raahh they thought she would be much sicker at one point, but she's my little superstar and just takes everything in her stride. (And is currently terrorising her brother with dinosaurs!)

Dinosaurs are always great. (My user name is a Harry and the Dinosaurs reference- my son loved the books when he was little, when I joined. He's 15 now ).

I agree Magi I think it’s been a really good tournament this year.

fizzy she's dinosaur obsessed - thankfully ds1 has the patience of a saint as she both worships him and terrorises him on a daily basis!
