Good God... how did they win best soap? The best soap is Molten Brown. Fact. (Lime and Patchouli, specifically!) What with dozy Rosie, booed Jude and airy-fairy Rosemary... think we'll all be reaching for the remote control by the time Jude has emerged from his kennel!

As folks have said above, the homeless storyline could have been effective - someone sanctioned or a mix up in benefits or an exploitative landlord. Instead it's just tacked on to Sean. They need to focus on characters, instead of deciding the next issue and choosing someone to be the victim.

If you were going to start freelancing from the flat above your current workplace and taking clients, you wouldn't take them all in one day would you? Just call in sick and then take all of your appointments for the day at home? This storyline has annoyed me because Maria has shown herself in the past to be way sneakier than that. She'd have been able to get away with doing that on the side for much longer and then leave Audrey in the lurch when it suited her...

IIRC Audrey has been very kind to Maria over the years - keeping the flat and job open for her when Maria was in prison. Not making a fuss when Maria moved in/sublet to her relatives and had 6 people living there as well as lots of other support through the years.

Maybe Maria will end up stitching knickers or doing a few shifts in the pub.

Maria's behaviour is dreadful. Who assumes that someone will sell them a share of their business? And broaches the subject infront of the newly appointed junior (whose advice she's listened to!).

I hope Audrey doesn't give her the job back. Best result if she left Weatherfield altogether.

This single word sums up all of Corrie right now.. there isn't a single story or character I can think of that isn't behaving in an 'Idiotic' way somehow. Except maybe Kev..

Maria, Michelle, Carla and Kate are all nasty pieces of work. I really hope Alyah makes a great success of the factory, in spite of them and the nonsense with Kirk and Beth. What the hell is Daniel doing still with whiny voice? He should be off to Oxbridge. Him and Alyah would make a good team, both high achievers.

Maria is ridiculous

Sean had two jobs for years so where is all his money gone, nonsense story.

Why would Maria think Audrey would make her a partner when surely David would be taking over eventually. He wasn't even mentioned.

If Maria was ambitious, she'd have done further training and gone for a big salon job somewhere.

Maria definitely needs more training. Being able to comb someone's hair is about her limit.

She'd at least be at Toni & Guy in Sallford!

Whiney voice is opening a second hand shop.

What the hell does Sinead know about running a business, or clothes for that matter? Her voice is annoying but her facial expressions are worse. Mind you I like her better with Daniel that the red head who must not be named lest he might appear

@Deadringer Just remembered Chesney and Jawsef, where are they??? They've been missing for so long if firgotten about them. And, Gary - where's he been while Sarah was knocking out Ryan?

Gary probably went out from a pint of milk from Dev's and got lost on the way back.

Is Sean supposed to be camped on the red rec?

Sean's facial expressions in the tent turned my stomach! Maybe Gary has gone to visit in Bristol.
