Good God... how did they win best soap? The best soap is Molten Brown. Fact. (Lime and Patchouli, specifically!) What with dozy Rosie, booed Jude and airy-fairy Rosemary... think we'll all be reaching for the remote control by the time Jude has emerged from his kennel!

Also, why would Duncan's tender have a little picture of him with it?

EachandEveryone · 09/07/2018 22:36

I thought Jack looked realistically poorly tbf. Kevin was great but then he can act compared to some.

Have we seen the last of Craigs friend do we think?

KlutzyDraconequus · 09/07/2018 22:38

Not sure where they're going with the leg story. It's not exactly something that's going to be easily fixed and he's a child. If he's in it for a long time like other actors will they remember to keep his leg gone?
Bit short sighted..

Redglitter · 09/07/2018 22:41

Nah hell be out of hospital next episode. Get a prosthetic foot, hobble for a week & then walk perfectly & his foot will never be referred to again

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 09/07/2018 22:45

So true redglitter

Clawdy · 09/07/2018 23:03

I think there will be a lot more ahead for Craig's new girlfriend. The pairing of Bethany and Ryan is getting very odd.

Hygge · 09/07/2018 23:33

I found the scenes with Jack quite hard tonight.

I can imagine him waking up not knowing and having to be told.

I can imagine sitting in the waiting room watching your child be taken away and knowing they were going to cut part of him away and you weren't allowed to be with him while they did it.

Knowing that when you saw him again his life would be changed in ways you never imagined before.

Making the decision to let them go ahead while struggling to trust if they were right to do so.

It must be awful. Those scenes did really bother me tonight.

ellenanora5 · 09/07/2018 23:37

I thought the exact same HettySunshine, it would have been covered.

Also agree with you Redglitter, the amount of people that are at deaths door or completely paralysed who are running around within a couple of weeks is astonishing.

Sophie had no lasting effects from her life threatening injuries
Sinead is the same
Chesney was nearly killed not too long ago
Many years ago Sarah was left with massive brain injuries after a car crash
Neither Tracey or Carla need to worry about their health anymore

It's ridiculous really

It's time to lose Sean, no point to him at all

Where is Jude by the way, we haven't seen him or George for ages.

In a way I feel sorry Kayla, she clearly can't believe what her father did so is doing her best to help get him out, no one would want to believe it would they.

I don't like them together Clawdy, they do not suit each other, and he has to be a good few years older than her.

Monty27 · 10/07/2018 02:56

Perhaps one of them will wake up from a nightmare and all will be well like Dallas. 🙄
And they will have a happy 70th birthday cake down the drs to celebrate NHS 🤔

ajandjjmum · 10/07/2018 09:06

I thought Kevin was really good in the latest episode. I shared his tears - the memory of DS being wheeled away to theatre (although for much less serious surgeries).

Thesearmsofmine · 10/07/2018 09:31

I found the scenes with Jack upsetting, Kevin was very good.

I was thinking that they have shown him talking about how good Jack is at football over the last few months when chatting with Tyrone or whatever and it is just heartbreaking to think how his life will change at such a young age)I know it isn’t real).

ajandjjmum · 10/07/2018 09:53

I think what it brings home Thesearms is that it is real for some poor family out there.

I just hope that they follow it through in a positive manner, in terms of how Jack copes, and gets involved in sport etc. He should never be left at the childminders for weeks on end now - this has to be a longterm storyline to do it justice.

Deadringer · 10/07/2018 17:00

I find it very strange that they would pursue this story line, it seems more hassle than it's worth. I know it's happening irl, but surely they don't have to include every ailment, disability, and problem that real people have to contend with.

KlutzyDraconequus · 10/07/2018 20:13

A storyline showing how someone could slip into being homeless could be amazing.... A loss of a job, benefit mixups, mental health problems or alcoholism etc etc. But it just doesn't ring true with Sean, he could have easily avoided his situation.

SgtFredColon · 10/07/2018 20:36

No sense! He wasn’t too proud to accept the offer of a couch from Liz and rang round everyone he knows but he won’t tell Fiz who has a whole spare room that he’s going to end up homeless.

cloudyweewee · 10/07/2018 20:59

I thought he was trying to have a poo in the tent- all those annoying faces he was pulling Confused

Thesearmsofmine · 10/07/2018 21:04

Argh I cannot stand Sean. Totally the wrong character for the storyline, he would have spoken to Fizz/Eileen/Billy:Toyah.

Hygge · 10/07/2018 21:13

I really hope they are not going to have Kayla make a false rape allegation.

I can see that it would work as part of her 'revenge' because she believes Craig and Bethany have lied about Bethany being groomed and raped, but it just adds to the struggle that women have to be believed about abuse.

It would be really distasteful and disrespectful to have a false rape claim storyline.

Thesearmsofmine · 10/07/2018 21:17

Has Hosh officially left the street? He hasn’t been on screen for a while.

Thesearmsofmine · 10/07/2018 21:18

Josh*

Clionba · 10/07/2018 22:20

I was wondering about Josh, he hasn't been around for ages. No sign of him at the garage.

Deadringer · 10/07/2018 22:25

Ellanora you had to go and mention Jude didn't you. It's like candy man, you mention them and they appear. Please don't mention red haired moany mcmoany face or he will appear too!

EachandEveryone · 11/07/2018 00:39

God forgive me but i laughed everytime Sean was shown in his tent eating his mouldy sandwich. Where is he pitched? Its the most stupidist story ever. Why doesnt he just come clean? Toyah asked him three times what was up. Why isnt he in Eileens house?

Monty27 · 11/07/2018 00:52

Funny how he was cold and the wind was flapping the tent when most of the UK is having a heatwave.
Oops sorry it's only Corrie.
Total rubbish at the minute.
And as for Maria freelancing, as if.
Notwithstanding blackmail and all of the rubbish story lines.
Hmm

coolncalm · 11/07/2018 07:11

Audrey deserves Gail getting her hair done cheaper by Maria. Who would charge their hard up daughter for a hairdo. Stupid scriptwriters expecting us to believe that would happen.
