Good God... how did they win best soap? The best soap is Molten Brown. Fact. (Lime and Patchouli, specifically!) What with dozy Rosie, booed Jude and airy-fairy Rosemary... think we'll all be reaching for the remote control by the time Jude has emerged from his kennel!

Shaun lost his job for breaking confidence at the medical centre, and Moira stole blood tests and just managed to keep hers.

I really hope that Liz loses her jobs now, in both the Rovers and the Medical centre.

Eva was still in with the doctor while Liz was at Johnny's flat spreading gossip.

Woo hoo.. Go Eva..
That was pretty awesome ending tonight. Liked that.

Also, how come Simon was "suspended"? That doesn't exist now, does it? How long is his exclusion?

Where is billy and summer living now? Is summer still in it? He seems to be living with Emma.

So Flora is supposed to have gone to the funeral home to see Vinny. She said he looked peaceful! Seriously? He was murdered months & months ago and left in a shed. There's no way she'd be allowed to see what's left of him. He sure as hell wouldn't look.peaceful

I thought Billy had a two bed flat? So where is Emma staying?

Ryan and Bethany... How old is Ryan supposed to be? Him and the gp (can't remember his name-Alistair?) must be mid-20s at least?? I'm sure they were school age when the baby swap.storyline came out?

Also, redglitter, wasn't Vinnie submerged in that lake for some time? He wouldn't look pretty.

@Clionba when Shona got back within David she moved back in to his house and said to Emma that Billy would need a new lodger so assume they swapped!

I thought Vinnie had been set in concrete after his time in the lake. Didn't Pat drag him out of the lake when he realised it was going to be drained?

Johnny is horrible. Really unpleasant. Why is Jenny even still with him? He is vile to her.

I was wondering if Leanne and Eva could get a mortgage to buy peters share of the pub. Tbh though Toyah is a useless landlady. It needs to go to someone who has a bit of character about them and doesn’t just look like they’re holding in a fart all the time.

Flora will need all that money to pay her nursing home fees! IRL the police would be all over her and the money.Surely Rita is not going to get ripped off yet again? The money would be seen as proceeds of crime. I have a feeling there is more to Flora than we know at the moment. Maybe she was the Ma Baker Of Manchester in the past? Maybe Vinny/ Harvey had a twin?

very quick transformation of eva from crying depressed angst ridden character to someone who still says 'pigging' and who i cannot find any redeeming features in the character at all - but then i never have
she was a party to this baby swap as it suited her at the time, she is not some gullible teen and toyah seems to be behaving well considering how she has been let down and now lost everything.
And as for letting Eva stay on in her home - relation or not - when she suddenly decided that she wanted the baby back I would have suggested she moved elsewhere.-
how is Eva able to fire people? - she is an unwanted unemployed selfish lodger not the landlord.

before anyone jumps on me - it was probably Toyah doing the firing (but was definately unfair dismissal!) but it was eva who wanted her sacked from the health centre
I hope Toyah finds her backbone in spite of the dire lines she is given and tells eva to leave - she is a decent actress where eva seems to over-emote and frankly irritates me that it is all about her. She took advantage of Toyah's desperation for a baby.

Peter had a quick personality change! One minute, raving about selling and being pig-headed and the next being all kind and considerate. Yuk! It was Eva who placed the baby on the sofa yet he took the entire blame himself and turned into a humble, reasonable human being. Not like him at all!

As if Ryan would ask a girl out and make a crude joke about buying condoms - in front of her mother !!

Eva could ask for Liz to be fired from the medical centre.

It would be up to them but if she made a complaint about Liz breaking confidentiality before she'd even finished the appointment with the doctor, they most likely would take that complaint seriously. Especially as Moira is involved in it and it's not the first time a receptionist at that centre has blabbed confidential information to the world.

Toyah sacked Liz and I'm not sure Liz could claim unfair dismissal as she hasn't been employed by Toyah and Peter at the Rovers for long enough. She left when Steve sold it, came back shortly afterwards, but it would be new employment. I think you have to be employed for two years now to claim unfair dismissal.

corrie is always a bit 'you're fired, you're barred' - i am surprised they are abiding by normal realistic facts -
still think eva should be told to 'sling her hook'. She has out-stayed her welcome IMO
