Thought I'd start a new one as we're not far off and there'll be much to talk about this week, I I fear.

OP posts:
SumAndSubstance · 28/05/2018 21:25

Oo yes, the wedding! Perhaps he could kill annoying fake-Ryan for us?

Clionba · 28/05/2018 21:27

Good idea, Sum! Or Sinead, please.

WhatMakesYouHappy · 28/05/2018 21:27

Hygge - with you on many of those questions...

WhatMakesYouHappy · 28/05/2018 21:29

I'm pretty sure Thora Whatsit has a key and faked the whole Billy locking everyone in.

Sorry everyone else, derail!

WhatMakesYouHappy · 28/05/2018 21:30

Kind of glad that Johnny is having this conversation with Peter, everyone else seems to have forgotten about Aiden quite quickly Sad

SumAndSubstance · 28/05/2018 21:31

I've never seen the Hole. I feel excluded and bullied! Grin

Clionba · 28/05/2018 21:32

I have no idea what you're talking about, folks! What's the Hole?? Have I missed something?

WhatMakesYouHappy · 28/05/2018 21:36

So sorry everyone else, it's a 90s horror film with Keira Knightley and Laurence Fox and Thora Whatsherface, and... Billy!

Billy had serious film acting jobs back in the 90s!

WhatMakesYouHappy · 28/05/2018 21:38

Sarah "Gary what have you done?"

Not, errr isn't he dead or any other of one thousand other more logical responses Hmm

Hygge · 28/05/2018 21:40

Thora Whatsit does have a key, and she did fake the Billy lock in.

But the police said he did it and all they needed to do was check his passport to know they were wrong.

I thought the rest of the film worked really well but then there's just this glaring error that would have taken all of five seconds to resolve and nobody seems to care.

The injustice to nerdy Billy annoys me to this day.

Don't even get me started on the mistake in Reservoir Dogs when they drive by Mr Orange's house to pick him up. I can complain for hours.

Instead I'll just wonder why Gary didn't drop Phelan off at the nearest police station? Come on Gary, think about it.

Clionba · 28/05/2018 21:43

Hygge my friend, you are attributing to Gary qualities he does not have. Why not alert the police to the whereabouts of a known serial killer, or even deliver him yourself? No, far better to kidnap and imprison for the purposes of...... I don't know Hmm

WhatMakesYouHappy · 28/05/2018 21:43

GrinGrin

SumAndSubstance · 28/05/2018 21:44

It's going to be another example of supervillain Phelan vs Caveman Gary, isn't it? Phelan will somehow manage to escape and Gary will be left scratching his thick little head.

Hygge · 28/05/2018 21:47

Clionba that's true.

You'd have hoped that the friend might have thought of it, but now it's all on Sarah-Lou and the Street is doomed.

Clionba · 28/05/2018 21:50

I know nothing of military matters, but surely Gary's training and expertise in the field of combat would make him more effective than this???

SumAndSubstance · 28/05/2018 21:54

He's too daft though, Clionba. He needs someone with a brain to tell him what to do. I'm sure Sarah will sort it out Confused

deadringer · 28/05/2018 21:55

Was that the builders yard? Where did that massive empty storage room spring from?

Clionba · 28/05/2018 21:59

Sum we can only hope Confused
The builders yard definitely didn't have that huge impromptu prison /storage area before.

SumAndSubstance · 28/05/2018 22:01

It's presumably part of the new set.
"What do you think we need in the new set, guys?"
"Oh, a little memorial garden with a fox, a Costa Coffee..."
"And a torture room!"

WhatMakesYouHappy · 28/05/2018 22:15

I can see the need for this prison room. I reckon I could build a business case based on previous use of a similar space/projected requirements. Grin

CoolCarrie · 28/05/2018 22:29

Is it Thora Hird ? Or the other one Birch?

Hygge · 28/05/2018 22:46

I was just trying to work out where all the murderers/would be murderers on the Street have lived.

The Rovers - Stella's husband lived here and murdered Sunita.

Number 1 - Rob Donovan lived there with Tracy and went on to murder Tina.

Number 4 - Maxine was murdered and Emily almost murdered by Richard Hillman from Number 6.

Number 4 - Claire Peacock suffered PND and almost killed her son.

Number 4 - Claire's friend then set fire to Number 4 to cover up a kidnapping by making it look like he had died in the fire.

Number 5 - I think John Stape killed a woman in there with a hammer.

Number 5 - Don Brennan kidnapped someone while he lived there and drove into the canal but they survived.

Number 6 - Tracy murdered Charlie Stubbs there with an ornament because he had an affair. Tracy was also responsible for two deaths at Victoria Court when she started a fire but that was by accident.

Number 8 - Gail's husband Richard lived there, but he murdered Maxine and almost killed Emily in Number 4.

Number 8 - Richard then tried to murder Gail, David, and Bethany in the garage of Number 8 but drove off to the canal.

Number 8 - Kylie killed Callum there and they buried him under the floor.

Number 11 - Obviously Pat lived there and killed Andy, Vinnie, Luke and watched Michael die.

Number 11 - I think Elsie Tanner's husband was pushed down the stairs here.

Underworld - Frank someone was murdered here I think.

I gave up after that, but number 4, 8, and 11 don't seem to be favourable addresses.

Hygge · 28/05/2018 22:48

Oh, and Alan Bradley lived at Number 7 and tried to kill Rita at least twice.

SgtFredColon · 29/05/2018 00:23

Where did the Harrises live? Katie murdered her dad and then killed herself.

SgtFredColon · 29/05/2018 00:25

Number 6 as well.
