I know it doesn't add up. But when are things ever logical in soap land?

IIRC Aaron when he was first in Emmerdale had a different head and was much younger when they brought Danny Mller in they aged Aaron up somewhat.

Soaps and especially Emmerdale love to have sexy mums that are not much older than their kids and seem to have children way underage - Moira (what age did she have Adam at - she looked like his sister?). I think Debbie was underage when she had Sarah, now we have Chas and Charity having Debbie at what 12/13??? and another baby at 14. (Was Kerry underage when she had her DD who gave birth to Cain's son?)

Corrie had Kylie (with Max), Sarah Lou with Bethany and then had to outdo how underage she had been by having Faye give birth at 12/13 (I think Shona may also have had Clayton underage). Next time what age will the girl be - 10?

Where are the underage dads? What age was Cain when Debbie was born? What age was Andy when Sarah was born?

In corrie Sarah Louise’s boyfriend died! And Faye’s child’s father conveniently whipped the baby of four to Canada? Never to be seen again.

Vanessa’s baby has a teenage father. He’s gone.

British Soap Awards are tonight. It'll be interesting to see how Emmerdale gets on.

I’m sorry but the whole Charity and DI Bails story doesn’t add up. So Charity was abused by Bails back in 1990 when she was 14? Most police officers serving in 1990 would be mostly in their 50s by now, Bails doesn’t look old enough. Presumably he would have been a fairly senior police officer back then too, I don’t think rookie cops get to be protection officers or specialise until they have served their initial few years. DI Bails only looks like he is mid 40s now.
And Charity is now 40? That would make her 12 in 1990, also Debbie her daughter is atleast 27 now too.

They seem to play fast and loose with characters ages in emmerdale.

Charity is 42 though and Bails was just a police officer who used to arrest her for soliciting at the time and may have been early twenties then so late forties now.

How old was Charity supposed to be when she had Debbie? Like 12? Hmmm. So she would have been 11ish when she got pregnant? How much older is Cain?

Cain is a year older. Charity had Debbie when she was 13 and then this adopted son at 14.

She looked great JaneJeffer, I thought she was very natural looking, no heavy make up or obvious false tan, and her dress was gorgeous, I'm glad she won the award.

I've given up on trying to work out how old Charity and Chas are supposed to be, their ages change for the storyline, it's very annoying.

I think I worked Charities age out, she's two years younger than me, was 14 in 1990 (I was 16), so she must have been born 1975/6. Cain is slightly older than Charity and older than Chas, so it must have been Chas's 40th birthday.

I would have loved Emma Atkins to win. I think she's in a different league to Bethany Platt. Oh well.

The Charity storyline has only started playing out these past two weeks- so probably too late for people to vote. Corrie generally did well in the awards.
