When they said 'Peru', did anyone else think 'marmalade'?!

Hetty, my very first thought was 'guinea-pigs', I'm afraid

I was in Peru for a few weeks and I don’t remember the food, other than being shown pink corn.
I remember drinking a lot of pisco sours and coca tea. A friend had to go to hospital with salmonella poisoning so we must have eaten something at some point.

DD is 12... she loves Thai and was strongly considering betrothal to Nawamin until... Crab Anatomy!! Also she's not sure she'd be able to cope with the constant grinning... have to put hre in the queue for Tommy then

I can't believe that they ditched Moonira.. that ruby thing should have been entered for an major art prize never mind a cooking one and I want her to come and cook me that pretty green and white meal she made in an earlier episode. I think her hair must be held up by a million invisable pins

I'm back! Just in time. Isn't Peru terribly chic and cutting edge food wise? (And it's a lovely jolly for the Chuckle Bros) sure they've been before.
So sad at Moonira going. I would like to see her amazing hair stand up to the altitude. Quick run diwn, who is left? Nawarim, Deadly Dave annnnnd?

I would like Death Pilot to go next, although he probably won’t.

I’d like to have Narwarim as an ornament on my mantelpiece.

I have a theory that all of Narwarims food actually tastes like utter crap but John and Greg can't bring themselves to tell him when he's smiling away at them during tasting. It would be like kicking a puppy

Alex seems good with meat n sauce

In some ways I’d like Kenny or Alex to win - as suspect they’d be more likely to turn the win into a career

I thought Alex would go before Moonira due to the issue with the chicken skin but they obviously decided that the imbalance of taste on Moonira's dish was the worse 'crime'.

I tip Nawamin to win but it is all about how they cook on the day. I still have a bee in my bonnet about Adam Handling losing MasterChef The Professionals

I think the pilot will win too, but he’s growing on me. I like calm people.

Moonira struggled with Tommy’s dish too so I assume it had a part to play. Nawamin did as well but he made amends later. Alex might do well in Peru, style of cooking should suit her.

Oh god yes, Adam Handling. What was he thinking? MRJ was gutted too.

@ScoobyGangMember It was galling that it all came down to those three dishes. He blew everyone away all series then to stumble at the last hurdle

Have you eaten at his restaurants? He is so amazing. Well worth a visit.

We ate at the restaurant in St Ermins Hotel while the show was airing. Want to go to The Frog.

Only got to watch it today, was sorry to see Moonira go but glad it wasn't Alex.

I think David will win, last two winners have been female, I can't see Gregg being happy with another woman winning, and he clearly dislikes Alex, I'm sure the feeling is mutual

I've found you! Late to the thread. Was gutted Moonira went, but it was on the cards. I didn't think she was any more out of her depth than any of the others in the first challenge - but they made a big deal out of "never cooked with those before". Slaphead said after she got her round out that "she had struggled" and i thought eh?
Kenny annoyed me messing about laughing at something whilst his beetroot juice was boiling over everywhere.

Nawamin just cooks same stuff over and over - more so than Alex/Moonira. He annoys me but i suspect he is the favourite to win.
I like David, although was surprised he got the comments he did when he put his plate of food down - it looked awful. And the skin on Alex's chicken wings looked crispy enough to me, but what was that salad?
