It's all v odd. Why would the kidnappers want revenge for money they're owed, when it's actually Willow they have beef with?

I think their hinky logic goes something like - Justin helped Willow get away from us therefore Justin owes us for the lost income we could've exploited from her.

I agree about the kidnapper logic. They seem (to use some MN words) like entitled CFers and so by their logic that ransom money is rightly theirs, anybody who gets in their way is the enemy, kidnapping is a noble profession and a man who can shove an elderly dementia patient down the stairs is still a good bloke wronged by the law and the doctors.

I don't understand why Willow or Dean didn't just grab the bloke's truck so he couldn't drive off before the police reached him.
